Pull/Chin up replacements

Are there any good replacements for pull ups/chin ups that use barbells/dumbbells?

Closest thing would be barbell or dumbbell rows, but they absolutely do not replace pull-ups and chin-ups.

Definitely OP. Get a barbell or pair of dumbbells and hold them above your head. Now do the same motions with your arms that you would do with pull-ups and move the weights up in down instead of moving your body like you would with a pull-up. Don’t worry if your shoulders get tired this is a back exercise.

Fix a barbell on the wall and use it as a pull up bar
