Since the last two months im sleeping between 4 and 5 hours a day and been feeling good
i usually used to sleep between 7 and 9 hours to function okay, but suddenly my body started to take less sleep, i dont feel insomnia or sleep apnea syntoms but i wonder if this will lead to stroke or lowered testosterone levels
so far my libido, strenght, weight or energy didnt drop by any means
should i go to doc ? im not stressed or whatever i feel good, but i wonder if suddenly someone of you started to need less sleep
Not trolling but could be manic phase of bipolar disorder.
But to answer your question yes. NOthing is going to be optimal with that amount of sleep. Depending on your genetics etc, you may even have a hard time building muscle at all. Figure it out.
Alexander Johnson
Maybe a hypomania episode.
>t. Not a doctor
Luis Anderson
Yes you should go to the doctor
Otherwise enjoy your premature Alzheimer's
Daniel Davis
thanks man, just search it up the bipolar syntoms stuff and i have lots of syntoms like being euphoric as hell sometimes,, masturbating a lot etc
but to be honest, i feel ok and i dont act erratic towards people, what could go wrong ?
Luis Scott
i didnt know about this, what would be the causes of hypomania ? i dont feel stressed or whatever
Adam Wright
As other anons said, hypomania could be caused by bipolar disorders and other shit related.
The thing about cyclothymia, bipolar... is that they're cyclical. Did you feel like shit before you started sleeping 4-5 hours? I'm talking about actual depression, not mild sadness.
Aaron Anderson
People usually feel great during the hypomania. It’s the inevitable crash that’s the problem
Colton Nguyen
yep, the crash that kills me. I've almost ruined the relationship I'm in with this shit.
Brody Bailey
yeah before this happened i had an episode where i have been rejected by lots of girls in a short period of time, i wasnt able to get a job despite being in my 3rd year in college and i got kind of mad with life...now im still unemplayed but i take the things with chill now
Justin Hall
Op again, yes man there are times where im hyped, specially when listening to certain music and i hit PR those days and im full of energy, then there is at least one day every month i will feel like shit
but this has been since im a teen and im 22 now
Benjamin Jenkins
Well there you have it. Go to the doctor to confirm it (confirmation bias is a bitch, maybe it's something else).
Anyways, try to sleep, even if you think you don't need it.
Kevin Thompson
see a doc ASAP if you start feeling bad
Juan Parker
i will go to the doc but what if i dont take care of it ?
to be honest if he gives me a pill or something like that i wont fucking take it lol
also if you asked anyone close to me they would never tell you im some kind of bipolar fag
Kayden Russell
at the momment i feel good
what would do to me an unthreated bipolar disorder
Oliver Jones
Might be nothing but better safe than sorry. A crash can really suck
Samuel Green
If the doctor says that you have a bipolar disorder, take the meds.
Bipolar is cruel, there's no other way to describe it. When you're in a high mood you feel fucking awesome and you don't take the meds. Why would you? But then time passes and you get more maniac. You feel even better, and you grow more agressive. But whatever, you feel like a god, fuck the meds.
Finally you'll be completely out of your fucking mind, and at that point you'll be so detached from reality that you won't take the meds anyway. Then you'll die on a car accident or you'll get arrested for whatever reason, or even worse, you'll go back to the depressive state.
And that's worse than dying, because the only thing worse than having a severe depression is having the depression after the best high of your life.

Hey OP. I work as a psychiatric care nurse. If your mood/mental stability is affecting your life in a negative way, then you should get checked out. Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, and Depressive disorders start taking over in your early 20's. (you mentioned your age was 22) If you are bipolar, your manic/depressive symptoms will become more severe (and will probably need medication). Good luck dude, and Merry Xmas!
Jaxon Anderson
what would happen during a crash
Luis Hall
its not affecting me in negative ways by any means, and i never get depressed or schyzo
feels bad man,its possible to be really high for ever and never going downfal? or its the fact your so hyped you end doing bad things
Thanks for your replies by the way, i will see how this goes and seek medical atention
James Wood
It's going from an extreme high in the manic phase, to complete depression. Some people consider suicide when it occurs. It's the best high you'll ever receive w/out drugs, to the lowest. No Bueno.
Lucas Brooks
i go very high sometimes but the depressed thing doesnt get me, but still its good to know, thanks for the information
Grayson Diaz
Nurse-dude still here. Your manic phases may be "ok" now but keep an eye out for weird behavior in the future. A lot of people start doing impulsive shit like speeding, minor theft, drugs, fighting, unprotected sex etc...
Eli Rodriguez
Friendly reminder that no one on Jow Forums would last 5 minutes in hand-to-hand combat with either of those orangutans. Thankfully they are based and peaceful unlike psychopath nigger chimps.
Mason Peterson
based apeposter
Jacob Fisher
5 mins ?
apes are explosive as fuck, they would maul to death any heavyweight boxer or mma champ within a matter of seconds, they have like three times the amount of neural signal strenght and ATP deposits
