Haven't watched TV since high school. I don't even watch movies or shows on my PC anymore, too much propaganda everywhere, not to mention a giant waste of time

I have never had a tv. We've always had a tv at home and I just stopped watching at some point, I think when I was in college. Now I'm 30 and I plan to buy a basic one until a proper display technology appears that will deliver perfect blacks and no burn-in. So no OLED (btw in case of those there is no burn-in but rather burn-out which is where the burned in picture comes from).
But there is no going back to cable tv. Imagine in 50 years kids will have real trouble understanding the concept of sitting down in front of a tv at a set hour and watching what the channel decides to show you and not even being able to pause it to go take a leak.

It would save me upwards of 4 hours a day and would be the biggest excuse ever to actually get shit done.

TV, youtube, netflix it's all one big distraction from the real lives we're not living. You're jacked, engaged friend with the sweet job and regular exotic vacations? He didn't get that spending his days marathoning anime in his pants.

It's called gez and you have to pay it no matter if you watch TV or not. It's basically the fee for our state propaganda channels that everyone can watch "for free".

I fucking despise tv and I haven't watched it since world peace got cancelled. Adult swim was the only channel I ever watched and it got pozzed so is topped watching. That being said, I still spend hours every day on imageboards so it's not like I'm living in the real world or anything
