Does anyone here have a close friend they spend a considerable amount of time with as an adult, or is such a thing unique to childhood? I don't have any friends, and frankly I'm not sure I'd want to as an adult, since most normalfag social interaction I've witnessed from afar has been one of two scenarios.
1. sex 2. getting drunk and talking about inane shit (television shows, capeshit, sports)
Do adults even have friends? I've been completely alone since my parents split and I had to move halfway across the country with my bitch mother. That was nearly ten years ago, I never grew close with anyone since and my mother's been the only person I regularly talk to. There's something really vital missing from my life, and even if I had a girlfriend, that wouldn't fill the emotional void. Whether you acknowledge it or not, those relationships are in the end, based on sex. Friendships are so much more meaningful than that, because it's entirely based on enjoying each other's company.
My brother is my best friend, ever since we where young. I still go to his house pretty mcuh everyday and we talk and play vidya. But it might be different since he is my brother but I also have another friend I hang with but he mostly just gets drunk and talk about inane shit which can be fun.

The only games I really enjoy is stuff like Arma and flight simulators. I've tried joining groups for them, but never got the courage to try talking since everyone takes it so seriously. It's the same thing with the Steam threads we used to have on Jow Forums, I sent a few guys friend requests but we never really ended up talking.

I actually reestablished contact with my oldest friend back in August. He used to be such a great guy, and practically my clone. He was far more orderly though, and had his shit together enough to graduate college and go through the police academy. I on the other hand stumbled through life and found Jow Forums when I was still in middle school, so my chances at success were pretty fucking slim from the getgo.
That said, we are still really good friends. He's become a normie, and has sex with a new guy every other day. He doesn't ever talk about it though, because he knows it makes me uncomfortable since I am very much straight (though any form of sexual interaction kind of grosses me out). We usually just shoot the shit about our lives or troll people on different platforms. He's good people for a faggot.
