How did he do it?
Managed to live past 50 despite heavy steroids abuse

He's had quite a few heart surgeries if I'm not mistaken.
His steroid use was nothing compared to even the average gym rat today.
>he thinks he looked how he looked with low dosages
Idiot
Those were genetic disorders, dyellet
Right, just like zyzz lmao.
If you do it right and avoid dangerous steroids you should be fine.
Straight Test E isn't to bad. Oral ones are bad.
If you are worried, take cholesterol supplements and aspirin. Eat super healthy
>50,000 people a day die from genetic heart disorders nobody bats an eye
>one (1) roided up bodybuilder gets a heart attack everybody blamed the roids
Whats even more amazing is he kept his hair in to his 70s.
So many things could have gone wrong for Arnold, he just got lucky at every turn. In the same decade he dominated bodybuilding and his friends were pioneering steroid use, there were many East German athletes having their lives ruined by experimental steroid use.
I shudder to think of all the bald, low T, infertile gym rats in the 70's who didnt have access to the resources Arnold did. Very lucky man.
Almost all of them from his era are still alive and kicking. Literally. All the famous ones are around and in good health. This entire notion is fucking stupid. Zane. Columbo. Ferrigno etc. In better shape than anyone else their age.
Moderate use is not unhealthy.
Arnol "The Dianabolic" Swartznigger was a notorius oral consumer.
you realize these people have the $ to basically live in a hospital and have the best in the world administering their gear for them
and you don't know what they've been through. mortality isn't the only thing to worry about.
Yup. Problem?
n-no
Arnold, as well as most other bodybuilders and a good number of athletes that required gear at the time, were very smart about their steroid use and had them administered and monitored by medical professionals. Hulk Hogan is another good example of someone who has been on gear for 50 years without serious drawbacks but is more open about his steroid use
>mortality isn't the only thing to worry about.
this guy gets it.
Yeah i heard he just dabbled with some tribulus and creatine but had the cut the latter as he became too big.
>thinking Frank Zane is wealthy
yes. also i read somewhere that roids back then were "purer" and of higher quality
He's a multi-millionaire, what do you expect? He isn't going to have lung cancer, diabetes, glaucoma, gout, and high blood pressure like boomers that shop at Walmart, c'mon. The rich and famous tend to take of their health, and if they don't, at the very least they've got top-notch medical service. That is why he's still alive despite all that, normie boomers don't have that luxury nor knowledge, this is why we see them all day painful deaths in retirement homes or at their own home, the way elderly people are these days is pathetic.
What kind of dumb post is that? You can't prevent a heart attack that many bodybuilders die from no matter how much money you've got. Piano man had as much medical care as arnold yet he died. It's all about genetics.
Well you can, frequent echos, blood tests and a personal trainer alongside same day consultant appointments goes a long way. The fact he's had several heart operations is the worrying part, the fact he's survived the problems isn't surprising.
Piano man was consuming 1000's of mg of caffeine a workout, doing coke, and taking a suicicde cycle at age 40. His lifestyle was the farthest thing from healthy and in all his videos he said don't do the shit he does.
they actually cycled back then and even though they frequently disregarded their doctors guidelines on steroid use (arnold's doctor later closed his practice and stopped prescribing steroids for athletes/gym rats because they would always eventually abuse the relationship. Dr Ziegler, aka dr dianabol also found the same thing out the hard way when he introduced dianabol to american weightlifters in the 50s... What started out as an extremely effective regime of 10mg/day for an advanced lifter, under the direct supervision of Dr Z and frequent breaks to protect the liver quickly ballooned into guys seeking it outside of his office, taking as much as 10x the effective dose, staying on it constantly etc) compared to today's chemical warfare it still paled in comparison.
Secondly in arnold's era it was pretty much just deca-durabolin, dianabol, anavar and later came in trenbolone. The average GYM rat today, nevermind professional bodybuilders, is doing gigantic amounts of testosterone on top of 3-4 other steroids, and HGH which is the real killer.
Furthermore, arnold was around 220-230 in competition shape and probably 250 out of competition. Compare this to guys who are coming in on stage today at like 260-280 and walking around over 300lbs and spending much of the year literally obese and carrying huge amounts of fluid which stresses the cardiovascular system extraordinarily...
well it all adds up.
roids back then were predominately actual pharmaceutical products, so they were cleaner but they weren't any more effective. 100mg of nandrolone is a 100mg of nandrolone whether it was manfactured by organon or manufactured by some chink API factory. The difference is today you dont actually know whats in the vial and you run the risk of catching a necrotic infection like that fucking dickhead on youtube who is in colombia begging god to help right about now.
Further proof that he was actually natty
he is a genetic god, simple as that
highly intelligent, highly resilient
he has the godgene
>he thinks it’s just one or two roiders with heart issues
Pro tip, the rate of heart issues among bodybuilders is stupid high

If I had a shit ton of money I'd probably abuse medical science to keep me alive, too.
Lmao. Yeah it was definitely the steroids and not the mountains of coke he was snorting that did him in. For sure.
good post
>average 13 year old boy living in an occupied country
>looks like this with zero training
>decides to start training
>becomes successful bodybuilder
>comes to America
>becomes successful actor despite barely speaking English
>becomes governor of the most important state in the country
What's your excuse?
I don't have below 3 digit IQ
>out of all of his children, his mexican love child is the one that gets the godgene
Feels juanderful.
wait are you all forgetting that arnold always did, and is still doing cardio?!
Arnold started lifting at 14 and that pic was taken when he was between 16 or 18. No way he looked like that without training, retard.
These are funny. I kn ow a gear user who competes and looks pretty good, but he's definitely not thart smart of a guy. He claims he gets blood tests done and says that his bloods are "perfect", but you know hwo else had blood tests that were totally "perfect"? Rich Piana. Apples to oranges, I know, even if things are seemingly okay with a roiders health, they can't seem to escape sudden death if they're at abuse levels. (Any form of competition cycle is abusing your body).
Maybe when he was 14.
