98.6 is a good degree.
>what degree should i get?
Go into a trade instead. Nobody does skilled labor anymore, and they will be the millionaires of the future.
so is 33.33r
what this guy said but honestly if you really want to make it you need to be smart and brave and no school will teach you that.
been thinking about welding but i hear you die at 40 and start out at $14 an hour.
> but i hear you die at 40
is that so bad? who the hell wants to be old?
4.0 in college applied to over 100 minimum wage jobs and nothing! Even got rejected from day labor; I failed their psychological profile test.
Enjoy never having ganja again!
what do you mean by this?
not that i like weed or anything
Something that fits the job market, but is still tolerable with your personality. I also recommend a technical or 2 year degree over uni. Uni is way more expensive than you think.
>i know so many people who have degress but working retail.
Just stay within STEM and you won't have this problem, because you'll have an actual skill instead of a penchant for bitching about 'injustice' all day.
It would be okay if you don't mind the noise of a workshop and being surrounded by tobacco chewers.
Also, a company retirement system is just glorified money laundering. My best advice is to spend your first months working up a $5000 surplus and finding a good investment advisor. With the right guy, that money will turn into $1 million by the time you reach 45 or 50 (compound interest).

Oh sweet summer child. I relish the thought of you being fucking destroyed by life and falling into crippling debt, social anxiety, ostracization, and rejection, or growing the fuck up.
I have a boner now.
In this economy its either get a STEM degree or get a regular college degree but have friend/family connections otherwise your ass is grass
what if I'm not smart enough for STEM
iktf
I'm 19 now and thinking of going to uni, given I'd be older than most of the freshmen, hoping I'll find friends and maybe socialise, but then I'm stuck thinking why, when i don't really know what i want to do in the first place
I will be able to get multiple degrees pretty much for free. What should I get that will actually be useful?
Maybe OP lives in a first world country where education isn't such a financial burden.
Then do a trade.
The financial aspect was just a pleasant perk. He's still going to get fucked in the ass socially and experience wise because he's a mentally stunted manchild that thinks his self imposed failure means he should be on a board made for people with actual problems.
I'm sure his figurines and posters will make his dorm room really comfy until he stops going to class and gets kicked out.
No you'll be slowly replaced by robots made by engi grads
Go for management/finance/accounting but you have to be more normie as connections are super important
That will not occur within his working years.
I think you're implying to much from just an anime picture.
>implying
INFERRING, user. The correct word here is INFERRING.
He can IMPLY, but you must INFER.
oh I didn't know, thanks
DO NOT GO TO JEWNIVERSITY
learn a trade or get some certificate and get to work. do not fall for the meme
you dont know me you fucking jew
Always happy to be of assistance.
Welders cant smoke weed.
why drugtests?
what trades CAN you smoke weed?just asking for a friend
Im an heavy equipment op and I made around $20 starting (non-union).
In the northeast if you are in a Union you could make over $40 per hour.
thats pretty good.how much did they drug test you?
trades that don't involve skilled work. :^)
Often. I take caffeine pills and narcoleptic medication. If they give me a full panel blood screen I would have some explaining to do.
then that means less pay.right?
If you think you can make over $500 a week doing some odd job or hobby find a way to turn it into a business.
It doesn't matter what job you get in America unless you are upper mangement, a lawyer, or a doctor you will always struggle and find it hard to build massive income.
tldr blame the boomers and Regan for breaking the American middle class.
in all honesty i just want a small house and to not be drug tested.
im a simple man
Trades like stock boy, mail boy, and ditch digger.
Take responsibility for yourself. I'm 23 and just figuring this shit out. I'm working full time and going to school and starting a business.
This world is full of people that don't honor themselves and have no feeling of a greater responsibility.
don't turn a junkie.
You need to put yourself in check. Take responsibility for yourself. Don't do it for some fucking God or belief, do it to honor yourself.
The only light in a world of darkness is self improvement. Just take little steps senpai. But the dope off for an hour and take a walk.
Opportunities waisted. What is the point without some self driven goal?
Over indulgence is a dark rabbit hole if taken alone.
>smoke weed for ptsd
>just want a small house
is that so much to ask?
Join us lawfags. You get to wear nice suits and know more about the rules that mantain our society afloat. It's fun
Get the one of the subject you actually find interesting. There is nothing worse than having to work for something you hate.
I rather continue learning how to be the stereotypical banker Jew guy.
I accounting on the side for some cash.
Do NOT listen to this faggot. If you start studying something just because it's interesting you'll end up with a useless degree.
Go into an IT major and make big bux remotely, or major in Japanese and become a translator remotely. That way you can be hikki, but still make a living.
I'm currently majoring in art, hoping I'll just be able to work remotely with that too. I currently work a job that pays 3 bucks above minimum, and I can fuck around on my phone when I'm not dealing with customers, so it's nice, but it's not remote, so I'm not satisfied.
It's your loss-
