Been listening to this on repeat for a bit now.
>our song
Not even going to listen to it, I can already tell from the title that it's a trash normalfag love song. Jow Forums is dead.
youtube.com
There's also an hour long version
These two are also nice
youtube.com
youtube.com
>Not even going to listen to it
thanks for the input then, queer
>calling me a queer
I'm not the one who listens to love songs.
whatever happened to /mu/ liking the antlers, are they robot-core?
youtube.com
how do you know what it is if you haven't listened to it?
What else could a song called "our song" possibly be about?
kinda like it for a dark fantasy manga read
it's not a normalfag love song like you might be thinking of though. it's about being a loser and getting cheated on, thought Jow Forums might like that.
This song usually gives me a little boost
youtube.com
I've had this one on repeat for a while now.
TBM is beyond underappreciated. Nobody else manages to be consistently bright, dark, spooky, and full of childlike wonder and soul-crushing despair at the same time like they do.
youtube.com
This song always makes me feel
Here's an unusual pick that you'll either LOVE or absolutely HATE.
"King Me" by Lamb of God, from their excellent 2012 album Resolution. It's the closing track, so it's supposed to be a bit more longer and dramatic than some other stuff on the album. It takes a while to get going, but once you hit minute 4-5... shit.
The song is about being a 40-year-old poly-drug addict who's lived a hard life. I relate to it a lot. I'm a 33-year-old recovering poly-drug addict myself.
In the song, the singer Randy Blythe is explaining that there's an aspect of his personality, he calls "King Me," that is narcissistic and self-destructive. If you let it, that part of your personality will fucking kill you. I understand.
The Antlers are chill as fuck.
I lived in NYC for 7 years. They're from Brooklyn or Queens, so they perform a ton of shows in the area. They're great live, perform a ton, and the shows are cheap.
Or at least, that's how it was in like 2012-13.

Comfy rock song, one of those 70's ones that tell a story. Swamp witch is another one like that I like, both fun to listen to

Enthrone thyself, O Archuman
O how thou shineth in the realm above
As planets rumble when thou descended upon this globe
To walk this Earth like a shimmering god
Let it be forever heard
We lost our Eden to own the world
Let it be forever know
We lost our battle to win the war
Come all ye, Wolves ov Siberia
We hail the flame, we hail the ice
Beyond bosom, beyond materia
We reject! We fucking deny!
Let it be forever heard
From Slave to king, from king to man
Let it be eternally know
We fled from heavens to rape the world
That's a heavy feel, good one normie or not
youtube.com
nice groovy happy song
EXTREMELY solid taste, user. Top notch picks. I won't pretend to have heard of all those bands, but I will check them out.
Marty Friedman is fucking unreal. I agree with you on that.
The thing, though, is that I don't personally play guitar and prefer a more "well-rounded" band, you know? I sort of feel like I would be super into him if I had a deep interest in lead guitar specifically, which I do not.
This one gives me some mysterious, but comfy feels.
youtube.com
>I sort of feel like I would be super into him if I had a deep interest in lead guitar specifically
well i do, but have this non lead guitar focused song then

Well it's one more boring Thursday night in Adelaide
And it looks like everybody must have died
There's no one on the streets and nothing on TV
Well I think I'll go and burn my TV guide
Doesn't Ernie Sigley bring you down?
Don't you think Mike Willesee's a clown?
Oh well I think I'd like to go and hear some rock'n'roll music played
So I'll check the amusement pages of the paper
Reggae bands doing one night stands at the Lion Hotel and Arkaba
And the girl at the bar thinks I'm going to take her home in my MG and
Hanging out at discos brings you down
Hanging out at discos brings you down
Down on Anzac highway in my rusty old FV
And I'm looking for some food to take away
Finger lickin' kitten and a double fisted bun
Well I've chewed and spewed and so I'm here to say
Orange laminex pizza bars bring you down
Orange laminex pizza bars bring you down
Yes we know it was the festival of art and all that stuff
And the culture vultures still sat on the fence
Before you put your bum on those plush red seats take a look in your backyard
Don't we need some changes in this town?
Arty farty cities bring you down
Don't we need some changes in this town?
Before you put your bum on those plush red seats take a look in your backyard
Don't we need some changes in this town?
This is pure bargain bin Boards of Canada, you'd enjoy Boards of Canada much more IMO. I'm positive they've ripped off Echus a bit here for the background synth. youtube.com

Okay, maybe it's a bit hokey when viewed under modern standards, but when understood in the right context Megadeth was pretty fucking good.

I really like this album when I sit alone in the dark thinking of how shit my life is. This is the only album by this band in studio quality, everything else is taken from live performances so it's shit quality.

Beach Fossils, Car Seat Headrest
I can't believe no ones posted Radiohead yet, but maybe I missed them. They've got this anxious, fearful tone to their songs that just hits home for me.
GATHER 'ROUND, FOR THIS VIDEO ACCURATELY SUMS UP ALL ROBOTS IN ONE SONG OR YOUR MONEY BACK! youtube.com
> Do you experience nervousness or shakiness inside, faintness and dizziness? The idea that someone else can control your thoughts. Feeling others are to blame for most of your thoughts. Trouble remembering things, feeling easily annoyed and irritated. Feeling afraid in open spaces or in public. Thoughts of ending your life. Feeling that most people could not be trusted. Poor appetite, heart or chest pains?
> Do you feel tempered outbursts, that you cannot control? Feeling lonely, even when you are with people, feeling blocked. Feeling blue, sad, feeling disinterested in things, feeling fearful. Are your feelings easily hurt? Feeling that people are unfriendly, or do you feel like people dislike you?
> Do you have trouble falling asleep? Nausea, upset stomach, hot or cold spells? Numbness, tingling in parts of your body, trouble catchin' your breath?

LEMMiNO: Infinity
youtu.be
[Lyrics]
Color coded just to keep me sane.
My world is finally starting to take shape.
I press the button and it bursts into life.
This time, nothing will escape my sight.
I see the stars and the planets soon follow.
Expect to have the universe by tomorrow.
Just sit back and relax, don't worry
The world can wait, no need to hurry.
Getting harder to stay in control.
But perfection is my only goal.
Have to fight it cause I won't go back.
I'd rather see the whole world go back to black.
But then I'm blinded by this light from nowhere.
This blue planet with life and an atmosphere.
I look closer and I can't believe.
What I'm seeing down there, is me.
But if it's me looking down on me.
The world above must also be.
This could go on for infinity.
The best way to see how normified Jow Forums became is by the music posted in these kinds of threads. I have to say 95% of the posters here are probably between the age of 14 and 18 and are most likely still in high school. It also seems like most of you are normies and have no place on r9k.
True robots have become the minority and there's no place for us online anymore. Why the fuck do I even bother coming here.
I'm fucking HOOKED on Moondog right now.

>Louis Hardin was born to an Episcopalian family in Marysville Kansas. His family relocated to Wyoming and his father opened a trading post at Fort Bridger. Hardin played drums for the high school band before losing his sight at the age of 16 in a farm accident on July 4 1932 involving a dynamite cap. By 1947 Hardin had adopted the name Moondog in honor of "a dog who used to howl at the moon more than any dog I knew of."
>From the late 1940s until 1972 Moondog lived as a street musician and poet in New York City. In addition to his music and poetry he was also known for the distinctive fanciful Viking cloak that he wore. Already bearded and longhaired he added a Viking-style horned helmet to avoid the occasional comparisons of his appearance with that of Christ or a monk. He developed a lifelong interest in Nordic mythology and maintained an altar to Thor.
>Along with his passion for Nordic culture Moondog had an idealized view of Germany ("The Holy Land with the Holy River" - the Rhine) where he settled in 1974. Eventually a young German student named Ilona Sommer helped Moondog set up the primary holding company for his artistic endeavors and hosted him. Moondog lived with Sommers family and they spent time together in Munster. During that period Moondog created hundreds of compositions which were transferred from Braille to sheet music by Sommer.
>On 8 September 1999 he died in Munster from heart failure. He is buried at the Central Cemetery Munster. His tomb was designed by the artist Ernst Fuchs after the death mask.
I agree with you user, a lot of normie music sadly
Have a look in the fridge
And see what he's got
Get in the bath
And I'll tell you the lot
We're grown men, we should be respectable
But to fuck with that, let's make a spectacle
Keep climbing
You'll see everything
Twice round the block
It's OK; say anything
We hide in toilets
We hide in a corner
But it's not over yet
So someone please warn her
I could try anything when I feel like this
With part-time friends that I could never miss
Spill the gossip, you know it's always topical
From where we sit tonight the city's tropical
Works begun
The taxi's late
I should feel like a hippie
But all I feel is hate
Let them say what they want, they could never make it stick
'Cause everyone takes a turn at being a dick
youtube.com
this is my life rn i cant really find friends and life is rly hard for me. school is stupid and idk why im forced to go to it if all it does is make me feel STRESSED OUT just let me stay at home and play at least that makes me feel less STRESSED OUT. whatever.
