how to eat healthy when I only have a microwave?
I've been buying stuff that's cooked at supermarket and eating out but it's getting too expensive

I confess that I missed you this past thread and was wondering if you were okay. Also I bought a bag of chips yesterday when I was at the store. 1600 calories right there. Luckily I don't have to go back for another week or so, so I won't be tempted to buy snacks.

I set my 2019 goal and am now eating a pizza alone to celebrate the fact that 2018 wasn't that bad. It's okay because still below tdee.

buy a crock pot, they're 30-40 bucks for a good one but you can get them for cheaper if you want to look around. just cook chicken, veggies, and rice with it

I bought a hot plate for $16 and it has been a real trooper.

How do I go out on new years without drinking n not look autistic?

Went home for Christmas and got tons of compliments from my mom and brothers on the weight I lost this year. Then I got the stomach flu, which kept the holiday weight gain off.

plan for it in your diet. order a drink, fill it with ice, and then sip on it over the course of an hour or two. you'll still be "drinking" but it's not like you'll be slamming them back. you have to make sure you don't drink excessively though

>only guy in my office
>5 female coworkers
>clients are about 50/50 male/female
I've gotten so much candy and cookies and other baked shit this past month, it's awful. I'm glad it's over.

get happy box an fill with notes when happy time happen then read happy box at end of year for smile

Just drink low calorie hard liquor? How is this a question. Vodka has virtually zero calories

96/1.5oz

?????????

Alcohol itself is the fourth and second most energy dense macro with 7 calories per gram.

Went to a bar and told my friends I wasnt going to drink, got to the bar and got surprised by a friend I havent seen in over a year. Proceeded to get drunk with him. Had 2 long islands, blue moon, rum and coke, gin and tonic, and I think something else. My only saving grace is that the bar served them in small ass glasses, smaller than red solo cups.

Sorry I don't speak amerilard, can you use units that every other country on planet Earth uses?

96 cal per 50ml. I speak amerilard and europoor.

>About to break below 200lbs for the first time since middle school
>Gain 5 pounds from the holidays

Please just fucking end my life I can’t take it anymore

I'm drinking Monster (ultra red) right now and eating Oreos after doing cardio 3 days in a row. But I'm not fat anyway and never have been.

Wow, that's more than I thought it had

it's easier to spend 10 seconds getting google to convert it for you than to type out that terrible post you lazy cunt

Are you a manlet or something?

I’m 6ft

Yeah it's how I got fat in the first place. Tequila has the least amount of calories.

Well, one of the reasons. Eating like a maniac and not working out helped.

I've been binging during Christmas pretty bad. I've realized how fucking shit my diet is. I'm now at 343lbs but I'm gonna be good. The rest of my life starts now.

So that's a yes then. I'm 195cm and 90kg

Good for you

201cm 95kg here

THICC. 330 lbs was the wakeup call for me. I'm 240 lbs now. Start right now! Work out, no liquid calories, count calories!

Not bad user, do you ever feel like you are too tall?

Yes ma'am.

>New Years coming up
>Trying to the last 30 pounds so I can finally be skinny

Good thing I don't have anyone to go out and drink with to celebrate the new year, h-ha ha, I don't want to fuck up my cut anyway

It's worth it.

I actually have this going in my house already, but even when happy things happen I forget to write them down.

>How much did you lose
>How much do you have left

>89lb
>92lb

50. 8 until normal BMI but it's going to probably be at least another 18-28 before I hit goal body and that's not even contemplating a bulk and cut cycle if I look like an alien when I get there.

ayy lmao brother

I can see you dancing as you typed this.

70 and 20-30. Losing this last bit is so hard, ive been stuck at the same weight for months and i just keep binging

>How much did you lose
15 lbs.
>How much do you have left
45 lbs.
I have 39 weeks remaining to reach my goal weight.

What happens in 39 weeks?

I go on a long-planned vacation. I want to reach my goal weight and be lighter and happier by that time, so I can make the most of it.

>10lbs
>70lbs

He blows up

Where are you going?

That's good goal to have. Where are you going btw?

He's already blown up.

>lost enough weight that im finally starting to take shape and not just become a smaller version of myself

fucking motivational, thanks /fat/

Chiseling a new body. I'm proud of you man.

5kg to go until I reach the normal BMI upper bound. though I have some muscle so I don't focus on weight but more on shape and body composition. once a knee injury heals I will try to build some more muscle

Hey guys I have 90lbs to lose to be at my healthy weight again, what should I do to get started to lose weight? Currently have a poor diet and I assume a big stomach so I was thinking of eating nothing for 2 days straight and then start eating a mixture of vegetables, fruit, fish and bread for under 1500 calories? Anything wrong with this plan or anything I should add to it?

You don't have to fast for 2 days. It's not going to fuck you up to fast for two days but you don't have to. Get on chronometer or myfitenesspal and make it your bible. Veggies and fish are top tier choices. Be careful with the fruits and breads. A little goes a long way.

I would recommend eating cooked grains like quinoa/oats and potatoes instead of bread since they're generally more filling and nutritious

>How much did you lose
320 lbs to 171 lbs, so lost 149 lbs
>How much do you have left
my goal weight at 5'10" is 130, so I've got a good 41 lbs left to lose. twinkmode maintenance for life after that, but with the added nastiness of a lot of loose skin.
>How did you do it
pure CICO over 1.5 years, didn't pay much attention to macros. I already eat meat a lot so maybe a little bit of accidental keto, but definitely not purposely.

Number one thing that helped me is writing down everything I ate, I didn't change what I ate I just started the food log first. After a while of doing this I was fucking disgusted with the shit I ate and how many calories were in it and it was easy to switch to a low calorie diet and keep it that way.

The reason I wanted to do a fast for 2 days is because apparently this shrinks the stomach? I understand bread but why becareful with fruit? Yeah I like oats and potatoes so I can eat that, just worried about the fibre increase and the potential rock for shit I will have for the week.

Fruit is better than bread but you can binge on fruit. That's why a little goes a long way. Just eat it to get your vitamins and make sure you're not going beyond that. You can get a lot of the same vitamins from veggies for less of a calorie cost.

I eat 60-80g of fiber daily and i shit once a day. It shouldn't make you constipated

Ok yeah I can do that, what should I do with vegetables to make them more edible? I know my taste buds are screwed at the moment due to my poor diet.
If you introduce an increase of fibre suddenly it will cause constipation, I would have to gradually increase it from whatever my fibre intake is now to prevent constipation.

Japan. I want to be light and fit enough to walk all over the place, climb every slope and stair. I want to be able to appreciate all the architecture and vegetation without my fat ass weighing me down and shortness of breath cutting my adventures short.
I'm gonna get this fat off and strengthen my body. I'm gonna make it and I have a great reward waiting for me when I do.

>what should I do with vegetables to make them more edible?
Seasonings and pairing as you're starting out. Eventually you want to get to a point where you can eat them plain but adding a very small amount of salt and herbs to a dish can change it completely. What veggies do you like to eat?

Fruit is full of sugar. You'll gain weight if you eat too much of it and it's very easy to do so if you're not mindful because it's sweet, delicious, and generally not filling.

I did so well getting down from 275 to 175, looked good. Now I"m back to 220 and fat again after working a stressful desk job for a year and a half.

FUCK

FUCK

FUCK

When i increased my fiber it gave me diarrhea for a little but it went back to normal after a week

That's really cool. I want to go to Japan too but that's a far off maybe I will one day kind of thing. Japan is an island so if you get out of the main plain around Tokyo it's pretty mountainous. Be sure to do a lot of incline walking in prep for it.

Just because fruit is full of sugar doesn't mean it'll make you gain weight. Most fruit is around 150-250 calories a pound, meaning you'd have to eat at least 10 pounds of fruit daily to gain weight.

I don't mind eating any veggie, it is just I don't know how to prepare a nice tasty veggie dish or salad. I want to eat the rainbow each day if possible.
Ah so its natures sweets pretty much, I'll limit them then.

Learning to cook is a valuable skill especially if you're wanting to change your body. Being able to prepare veggies is even better. To start with until you can experiment with various seasonings and sauces for veggies don't be afraid of steam in bag vegetables. Easy as turning on a microwave. First time you should cook veggies is learning how to make a stir fry. It's just a tiny amount of oil (a table spoon or less and coconut preferably) and you just cook the veggies with a meat or fish of your choice until it's ready. It will take getting used to using a chopping knife but that's a good skill to have.

12kg down, 18kg to go

>have two slices of pumpkin pie thinking they're ~200 cals each
>look it up and find out they're 320 each
jesus christ, why must calories be so delicious?

You sure youre not just craving carbs/sugar?

15lbs lost
155lbs to go.

Started December 16

6kg down
9kg to go
Got to hit my pre university/drinking problem weight, back when I could run 5ks just whenever. Just have to not come home and drink every day but it's hard man.

I should probably stop weighing myself every day that shit really psyches you out until you can see it in perspective.

Attached: weight.jpg (1037x382, 60K)

I can't do it. I try to limit myself to a single serving of ice cream and end up eating the entire carton.

Attached: 1499714535584[1].png (205x246, 7K)

dont buy ice cream

I can't stop myself from buying it either.

Attached: 1400927640184[1].jpg (983x758, 98K)

Youre probably addicted to sugar. Try zero carb. Im only on day 14 and I feel relatively liberated from my Sugar addiction.

Then you're never gonna make it

then find alternatives like low cal ice creams. i always find myself going through weak states where i eat things that i wish i wouldn't but i always make a comeback and end up going back to watching my macros. it's pretty normal imo as long as you don't go off the far end and gain a ton of weight back.
you need SOME kind of discipline to lose weight, you're the only one who can make it happen.
