What’s the point of lifting when this skinnyfat manlet could literally one hit KO anyone on here?
Training martial arts is far more alpha and gives you real confidence because know you could always come out on top if a confrontation escalates to violence
Manlet fighters are the most insecure people on the planet. They feel like they constantly have to prove themselves and look for fights anywhere they go
Michael Campbell
Russians aren’t human so I can legally dump a mag of 10mm in him You also made this thread yesterday
Jayden Young
I really really hope classic bj shows up and beats down this autismo.
Luis Cruz
blacks are the future of mma
i'm not saying this out of race or anything but they have the superior reach advantage with their arms and legs.
lanky guys like jon bones jones are popping up here and there, i mean i'm watching UFC right now and there's 2 lanky black guys in a row that's gonna win.
now boxing.. that's a sport on equal grounds regardless of reach advantage depending on your skills. for all races and reaches.
Cameron Cox
>everyone lifts weights so they can hit people
Anthony Myers
Jon is fighting a white guy with the exact same build as him. It's basically the lanklord championship.
Was at a party the other night with some shorter dudes who all do some form of martial arts, and the whole night they were talking about fighting and who would beat who and they brought out gloves but no one even fought.
I’m a relatively tall and muscular dude and I wasn’t even involved in the conversation, and one of the dudes (my friend) goes “I could beat the shit out of user!” Like nice dude you’re just showing everyone how insecure you are that you need to find some way to top the biggest dude in the room.
Every manlet trained in martial arts (but doesn’t actually compete at any impressive level) thinks they are some sort of fighting master that is hiding their power level. It’s annoying as fuck because there’s no end to the bragging and speculating. No one is actually going to fight anyone so everyone thinks they’re the best with no way to prove it. At least if you’re bragging about any other sport you can just play a game to see who wins.
such a shame...his bjj is very good heel hooks are just lame.
Julian Jackson
Reach doesn't matter when you're on the ground fuck head. There are also plenty of short stubby fighters who have kicked long lanky fighters, you're actually braindead if you believe this shit.
>Like nice dude you’re just showing everyone how insecure you are Lmao nice projection you insecure juice head
Carter Roberts
>Reach doesn't matter when you're on the ground fuck head. yes it does fuckhead reach matters a lot in bjj submissions and holds you're just an inexperienced asshole
Noah Reed
What's the point in learning martial arts when someone could pull a knife and kill you immediately? None of you mmacels could stop a determined guy from stabbing you
>No one is actually going to fight anyone why not you faggot show the manlet whos boss if you arent afraid we used to fight at times for the fun of it, there were always boundaries set good times
Jeremiah Green
Do both martial arts and lifting. Or hell do any sport and lift. You all come here and are lonely fucks, if you do a sport with people like in a club, you’ll get a social network, you’ll have a greater purpose in your lifting, and you might change your workout to suit your goals and have more fun. Also if you want to git gud at fighting >boxing >judo >wrestling >Muay Thai >sambo Maybe BJJ or Greco Roman due to specializations
Blake Collins
Well why didn’t you fight them, just lay down some ground rules, then head outside for some roughhousing, good fun >Like nice dude you’re just showing everyone how insecure you are But you didn’t actually respond , did you? The whole you’re insecure, but I won’t tell you that is the mark of someone else insecure.
William Ross
this. No one understands that your first move is to break his knee, have mail, or have distance.
Henry Howard
This is the truth. I am am life-long martial manlet boomer and I don't talk about it because I don't want to be that guy. Normies just don't care about your niche hobby. Can you imagine being somewhere and some dork shouts out 'I can 3-0 you in Melee. Let's go right now!' and proceeds to unzip his fanny pack and take out his gamecube controller?
Austin Rogers
Why bother with owning a gun or knives if you would still get killed by a pipebomb or drone strike?
Jeremiah Garcia
I hate those guys.. bunch of posers and fakers that got into fighting because of fighting games, they do both martial arts and lifting but comes to practice maybe 2 or 3 times a week at most cause they lift the other times. they're mediocre at sparring and can only last 3 rounds max. they don't compete, and they never get ripped like a fighter cause they're fatasses that eat whatever they want.
i'm a manlet that competes
Daniel Powell
10mm is the patricians caliber.
Hudson Davis
Actually I think chuck lidell p much proves that cte, punch drunk ruined fighters are EVEN less fluid in their movements/punches than someone who's never fought. If BJ keeps going he'll soon be in similar shape. he already moves punchy as fuck.
Jacob Rogers
>immediately going to knife as the ultimate conqueror of martial arts
You poor eurocucks.
Caleb James
>slavs Fixed that for you.
Chase Ramirez
Technique doesn't matter if someone is overwhelmingly stronger than you. A genetic freak could join mma at any time and mop the floor with everyone one day. Just you wait and see.
Dominic Powell
>lmao he has a knife so that means it's his win automatically The 21st century man sure is a huge bitch.
Adrian Robinson
This was pretty much Brock Lesnar but that said, in a 1 on 1 fight, you could presumably defend yourself from some surgically enhanced post human with the correct technique. If you were able to get a choke deep enough (and provided their neck muscles weren't just unchokable) you could pass them out and run.
Parker Gomez
>neck muscles can stop a choke Wut? If you get a proper choke in, and you aren’t such a dumbass to let it go, you win. You can’t train your brain to run without oxygen
Ian Allen
Have either of you two trained mma? If you have long reach fight on the outside (ali) and if you have short arms fight on the inside (tyson). Grappling transitions are easier with longer limbs but submissions require more leverage, sometime you have to modify the moves. Short limbs are tighter and require less effort to lock down. But if you looked at the history of ufc youd see race hasnt been a major factor. Mat hughes was champ for a long time and he was a white guy with stubby arms. Tim silva was champ for 2 fights and he was a white guy with long arms who lost to brandon vera who was 4 inches shorter than him.
Kevin Hughes
i lift to look good not fight. just stay out of shitty places and you won't have to fight anyone.
Caleb Turner
Frank Mir had all the technique in the world and probably more than enough picograms too. Brock still turned his face into mince meat.
Jacob Cook
>outweigh him by roughly 70 lbs >just run straight at him and throw your entire mass at him >rdead on impact
Jason Wright
Literally this
Tyler Evans
This is probably the 10000th thread we’ve had on this same exact topic and it’s the 9999th time I’ve found it pointless.
Anthony Anderson
Beceause he risks way more than some brainlet who doesn't care what will happen with his life. You'll understand it when you have a wife and children. It's easy to beat someone up but if they accidentally fall down and hit their head really hard and they die, it will be your fault. Real men don't have to respond to childish insults. Fight only when you have to, not just because someone says shit to you.
Dominic Powell
You do realize that a guy who does lift and does MMA on the site probably has a easy as fuck time punching the shit out of pic related? Of course a pure lifter will go down, but someone who does get stronger and know how to fight? Literally unbeatable by people like him.
Gabriel Wilson
But Brock know how to fight? I mean, sure, he's a genetic outlier and could snap anyone in half with 2 fingers, but he was a longtime wrestler and despite wrestling being a staged performance, they get hurt for real.
Julian Flores
Most people lift to look good. Lifting for social status is a valid reason to lift. I do BJJ and even I know this. Also, a martial artist who is strong will always beat an equally skilled martial artist who is weak. Found the guy who has no idea what's going on lol A person with a knife has a huge advantage over anyone who doesn't, even when we're talking about trained fighters.
>doesn't also practice Kali/Arnis/Eskrima to be like Jason bourne.
Never going to make it
Henry Carter
lmao he didnt even get hit, he just got rammed under the armpit
Dylan Bailey
The overhand right (first punch the throws). It's tough to see because it's so damn fast, but he took it right on the button.
Bentley Clark
How to tell if you are in a real self defense class vs a mcdojo Mc Dojo: Some way of taking the knife and stabbing him back Real class: Run away really fast
Josiah Phillips
that ref looks like he can barely get around wtf
Also nice to see an arrogant nigger get put in his place
David Collins
This is a bad argument, if you don't live in a war zone your chances of encountering explosives is super low, but chances of being mugged/raped are not very improbable.
Luis Garcia
>real confidence
>Real Which has more "real" impact on your life? Fighting skill, which has no positives for any semi-adjusted person or Aesthetics which is what a large part of our society is based around?
Nobody cares that you think you can fight, people care how you look.
Brandon Reed
>tfw want to look good while also doing some boxing twice a week I just want to be interesting, damn it.
Adam White
Dude, the chances of a fight killing someone in a knockout are pretty fucking low. There have been 80 cases of a person getting killed in a fistfight in the U.K. over the past TWELVE years. So out of hundreds of thousands of fights, maybe 80 have ended with death. May as well buy lottery tickets with odds that low. google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/uk-38992393
Andrew Hernandez
Your chances of getting mugged or robbed are pretty low too unless you live surrounded by nigs.
Jayden Bell
Got a webm of the finish? The fight wasn't even uploaded on my usual sources, but I heard he imanari'd to a heel hook.
Jayden Green
Actually fuck it, the number of deaths in the us due to fist/feet/body parts is 700. statista.com/statistics/195325/murder-victims-in-the-us-by-weapon-used/ Now trying to figure out the number of fights in the us I was only able to find highschoolers info childtrends.org/indicators/physical-fighting-by-youth Which says about a quarter of highschool males have been in a fight in the past year. There are roughly 12-15 million highschool students living in the us currently, nces.ed.gov/fastfacts/display.asp?id=372 Which means that out of at least 3 million schoolyard fights (we’re assuming the people who got in a fight only fought once) which is probably bullshit but I don’t have any exact numbers. But out of 300 million fights ( not including street fights, kids who fight multiple times, etc.) only 700 end in death. Which means the odds are roughly .0023% that someone would die in a fistfight. And that’s a high number, with me ignoring streetfights, kids fighting multiple times and other factors. Add into the fact that it’s be one on one rather than a bunch of dudes jumping the guy, and that number gets even lower.
TLDR: the chances of killing someone in a fistfight are really small
