have you ever been in a fight Jow Forums?
I've literally never thrown a punch in my life, just got beaten twice. I'm such a beta, but get into fight with someone else just seems so ridicolous and pointless to me. Also a bit gay

No, i've never been in a real fight, only in elementary school and middle school.

Fighting gets you assault charges and in trouble.

I satisfy my fighting desire by doing boxing sparring weekly though.

The trick to fighting is mostly sucker punching and eye gouging

why not be that fucking fag who beats up burly men then makes them his son?

No, but in my defense I am training mentally and physically for the day when I do --- and it won't be over some stupid shit like drunk altercations outside a bar.

This. Every fight is basically cheap shots

Ayo wudup, dawg
Shiet man damn

being in a fight is not like a film, people don't get knocked out the way they do in films unless you catch some one with a suck punch and the longer the fight goes on the more uncoordinated it gets

It is what it is lads, there's no ref and Joe Rogan isn't gonna be there on commentary

>1st grade
>new kids first day
>in lunch line and he just cuts in front of me
>tell him that he has to go to the back of the line
>he makes up some bullshit rule that since he’s new he gets to cut in front of whoever he wants (he was homeschooled)
>he pushes me when I tell him to go to the back again
>I kick at him, but he grabs my leg
>I’m now jumping around on one foot and he laughs
>punch him in the nose
>he immediately starts pouring blood like a fountain and cries to the point where he can’t breath
>teacher saw it
>I don’t get in trouble since he started it
That was the last time I got into a fight

i mean i'll commentate.

but yeah anything's fair game in a street fight, lads. Just focus on crushing your enemy... literally

I trained MMA for 5 years.
Fighting is illegal but people get away with assault a lot remember that in big towns they can get away with little known about them.
I'd reccomend some wrestling and boxing training if you want to have some good fighting in you in the streets cause youll want to not get taken down in a street fight cause groups lul but also boxing cause most likely you cant kick in jeans and you dont have to strech to box good but mma training is the best way

No. I have some wrestling and taekwondo background but have never had to use it. It's not hard avoiding fights if you have a little common sense

Fighting sucks man, don't do it.
Did mma for years as a kid, didn't get too into it though, what i learned was.
Some people are good at it
Boxers make millions because they are better then every, other, fighter.
Wrestlers are tough and conditioned to all hell and can stop you.
Brazillian Jujitsu is Gay but good at it like god damn i've never felt this way before can you give me back my toe thanks.

And if i didn't just now mention it, it's shit.
Now, if you want to learn what you need to about fighting, go join a boxing ring for 6 months only, and give it your absolute all. Then buy a gun and learn to run.

If you were big enough or smart enough to wrestle you'd have learned by now, if you were gay enough to grapple you'd have gotten fucked, not beaten.

Your welcome buddy. Pic related, it was me learning about the bear hug.

For the record only fight i ever got into was middleschool before learning any of this, Kid punched me in the face twice and it was over. Didn't even get into it long enough. The last fight i was in i threw some asshole into traffic and then ran like hell. Assaults, not fights, def.

Best advice in the thread. Carry a gun and run when you can. Fighting sucks and can change your life for the worse, or end it, in a heartbeat.

Yes, street fighting has no rules, it's fun.

The ones I have been in always end after picking the other guy up and slamming him down. Much more effective than punching or kicking.
Most people don't like fighting, yes, but some just fucking adore it, such as myself. It's like being a drug addict, it gives you that adrenaline rush you constantly crave. I'm the type of guy that probably won't live past 25, and that's ok.

Stay safe OP.

Youre supposed to fight. You evolved for thousands of years to fight and to kill and to fuck. If you cant do all three youre not a man. What are you going to do if a guy tries to take your girl? Tell him fightings gay and watch him rape your girl or take your shit? Learn to fight and quit being the pussy the media wants you to be.

>tfw looking for gyms and all I can find is muay thai and kickboxing

>B-but user, fighting is barbaric, and something only niggers do! You're never gonna get into a fight if you're above the age of 17!
I've heard the same bullshit so many times. The only reason why bitches like that can have such a mentality is because they've been pampered their entire life. Born in an incredibly safe environment where they don't need to kill just to survive. Think that shit would fly at any other point in human history? Fuck no.

Muay Thai beats boxing every day of the week. No contest.

Twice. Outnumbered both times. Got the shit kicked out of me, but got a few good swings in both times.

I fucking hate how black guys use pack tactics.

Attached: 1545921641581.jpg (500x292, 53K)

I started with muay thai. It's alright. You don't truly learn head movement and instead learn to shell and parry because of knees and head kicks. If you want to do a martial art, both muay thai and boxing is good.
Anyone who only knows muay thai will always lose to the one who knows boxing as well. Muay thai as a whole is weak especially when it comes to punching power and head movement.

None of you will ever be good enough at martial arts where this makes a difference

I have been in quite a few street fights and they almost always end with 1-3 connected hits when you’re a bigger guy. Often they’ll come back with weapons if you take them easily. One guy knocked me out in one hit via sucker punch. I knocked out a guy in one hit after he sucker punched me. I knocked out three guys, two in one hit, one in two hits after one hit a girl. One got a single hit on me... they found me later on and one cracked me over the head with a golf club but I kicked him in the face while he was swinging and the other two dragged him away. In another fight, 4-5 dudes fought myself and four friends. One of them pulled out a box cutter and started slicing up the back of one of my friends (deep cuts all over). His friends turned on him because we were all moderately well-off suburban white kids and not fucking animals and we all beat the shit out of box cutter guy together as the guy who got cut was rushed to the hospital.

Fights are literally nothing like you see on TV. The vast majority of people on the streets can’t fight at all and couldn’t throw a decent punch of their life depended on it.

Not arguing that but I don't plan to compete in professional MMA and you are much more likely to find a good boxing gym than a good muay thai place. Would rather get good at 3 main strikes and defense than worrying about practicing for years to get the 8 limbs down.

Idk when to hit someone. If a dude gets in my face shouting do I hit him first or does he hit me first? If I hit him first does it mean I was a puss and afraid?

Once in high school. I punched the other kid a few times and we got pulled apart.

A few times in various tournaments for various styles

>boxed consistently for 6 years
>sign up at a local boxing academy in my new city
>instantly put into a fitness class before i can actually join into the boxing program
>meh, whatever.jpg
>spent five weeks just purely doing fitness with overweight soccer mums
>ask my head trainer when i can actually start sparring
>"usually we have our new recruits stay in the fitness program for six months, but it's good though bro, you still learn how to box in it"
>'learning how to box' consists of throwing a jab, then a hook
>tell him of my boxing experience, even the other trainers under the head one agree that i should instantly be put into the actual sparring sessions
>"nah bro, he still has alot ot learn".

fuck these city people, decided to say fuck it and join up at another academy, instead focused on Muay Thai, already being recognised for my boxing ability and placed into sparring sessions within my second class.

Still trying to get the hang of parrying and using my legs and what not but its marginally better then the other place because i get to actually fucking fight.

The guy who hits first wins usually but that's where the problem of being an adult comes in. You don't want to go to jail and the other guy is clearly too dumb to worry about it so you're stuck.

Not really, some dude punched me once and I punched him back, but he backed off so we didn't actually start fighting

Rules of engagement are that once you feel a legitimate threat against yourself, you can act on it. Most guys who get in your face are just doing it to show off to their friends or nurse their ego and don't plan to do anything, or else they would have just hit you without telegraphing it first.

Avoid fights if possible. It doesn't take much to blind an eye, collapse a vertebra or deafen an ear.

the trick is to not look away when you're in the thick of it. know going in that you are GOING to be punched in the face at some point during the fight.

if you do what everyone does and turn your head you'll be blindly violently flailing.

also develope proper punch form. a straight punch does not require any force to knock someone the fuck out.

But that's tricky tho I don't want to be a coward and run but I also don't want a fucker in my face. I also don't want to be arrested for fighting.

Muay Thai is more than just kicking and punching. The stand up grappling/clinch game takes it to whole other level.

I’m a MT coach. We have an independent boxing coach that trains out of our gym. When his guys spar our guys under our rule set they get their asses handed to them every time.

Boxing is a one-dimensional combat sport.

Then make a charisma build and learn to talk your way out of that shit.

It takes no more time to be a good Thai boxer than it does to be a good boxer. Except with MT you’ll learn stand up grappling which you can fall back on if you ever engage with a superior striker.

just get into fighting professionally

I got into a fight with my sister, because she's annoying as hell ( not an excuse (she didn't get hurt or anything)), and I was sent to jail for two months to wait for a trial. Now I can't see my little brother or the rest of my psychopathic (mostly) family. I hope I don't get sent back to jail, I'm fucking 17 (and wussy pussy bitch).

Honestly it makes 0 sense to not train how to fight if you are serious about lifting weights.

>inb4 some Jow Forums neckbeard says he'll just shoot everyone

Spoken like a 13yr old faggot

I might check it out then. I tried Kyokushin karate and I didn't like all the arbitrary rituals and footwork. Figured boxing would be more up my alley but MT clinch game looked cool as fuck to me.

Also the guy training me wanted to fuck my girlfriend at the time.

I lost it with a manlet and beat him into the ground

Like dogs, user. like dogs.

I played videogames because my doctor told me to, and now my fifth metacarpal is fully recovered. I also have no one to hold me when I cry because I watch hentai and fap to.. things. What am I gonna do?

Oh, this is about hitting on men. Apologeez

Literally the only guy here who has been in a fight

western muay thai fags are hipsters and faggots
don't expect to go anywhere arguing with them

they just wanna wear their gay little short shorts and larp being dangerous

>t. Chicken leg boxer

Yeah back in highschool when my lacrosse teammates started wooping some dude's ass for talking shit about our goalie

notice how the muay thai hipster will continue engaging, comparing himself to boxing, like a step father who never loved him

anyone can be a muay thai coach, even without pro fights, due to their shitty level 3 armband system, which is why there are so many mcdojos in america

all you're left with are just some hipsters who think checking and leg kicks are king because it's the quickest strike there is to a viable target who make no money and look like fairies during actual fights due to their lack of punching power

the sport itself is great if you wanna get into it, just don't be like the faggots in it

I grew up in a shit school where there were fights constantly. I won most butt got lots off black eyes also. Most people fought for shit and are too passionate so they forget about timing. Especially niggers who would make you fight many of them at a time and only start when they outnumber you. Patience is key, that and if you get ahold of their head bash it off something a lot of times until they stop fighting.

This tranny punched me and tried to steal my phone. Good thing I bench press 120kg because I pushed him away with so much force he didn't touch me again after that.

No.

But getting sucker punched twice has been invaluable in my education. The second time I stayed up. There won't be a third

Picking fights is stupid. If possible always avoid them, it's really worth it to potentially risk dying or being crippled for life just because some drunk rando landed a lucky hit on you and there is always the chance the other guy draws a knife, has friends join in etc

But it doesn't hurt to know some basics for fighting just in case you can't avoid it someday

Beta

Grew up in Tijuana, yep

spotted the retard

>t. Guy that literally knows nothing about Muay Thai

I've had state, provincial and national level boxing champions come to my MT gym to cross train for fun, all of them left with very sore lead legs. Any Muay Thai you've seen is probably taught by shit tier coaches that spent 6 months at some gimmick "Muay Thai" gym practicing shitty kickboxing at best.

Guy trying to find a gym here. What are some hints that a gym sucks? Boxing or Muay Thai.

Basically when it comes to Muay Thai, any sort of "belt" or "ranking" system past student/teacher is garbage. If you aren't sparring on a regular basis, it's garbage. If you aren't learning how to clinch on a regular basis it's garbage. If the monthly fee's a ridiculously high, it's more than likely a meme factory.
Find a teacher that has legitimate credentials, i.e a good fighting record or a legitimate teaching pedigree.
If it's full of soccer moms and people just looking for "exercise" it's garbage.
Same pretty much goes for a boxing gym. You'll find some of the best boxing gyms in greasy back alleys, ghetto's, basements, etc.

Yes. It comes with growing up in Eastern Europe.
I have been bullied yes but after I got to 6'3 in highschool nobody ever touched me again. Got a few more friends then I was the bully. I do feel bad about bullying kids tho. I've met a kid I bullied and asked him to forgive me, I felt better and he felt better, told me how much he hated me but now he feels better, drank a beer with the kid. There are still 2 other dudes that I can't find anymore but if I ever run into them I'll do the same.
I think I bullied them because I was bullied too, it was a way to cope I guess.

Got to 6'5 in college tho. I'm a friendly giant.

I beat up a friend once in a drunken rage for insulting my waifu but that's about it. I had blacked out at this point, but my friend had the bruises and really freaked out demeanor the next day to prove it. Weebs were not meant to hold this much strength.
