no carbs as first meal, ever. only protein and fat (like meat and eggs) otherwise you will get brain fog and will be useless and moody the whole day.

lunch is fat, veggies and protein, or just protein and veggies.

(good) heavier carbs only once a day, with fiber (sweet potato with brown rice, for example). meat along with it. best at night. with more veggies or some fruit. some more protein is fine.

snack on nuts between meals.

beet or beet juice on lifting days.

cheat either all day once a week, or once a day at late afternoon or evening.

carbs are really bad for gut health and deregulate your mood after the gut gets in a bad state. you start to get bacteria that require sugar to keep you able to function, which is why so many people need sugar spikes to feel happy. keep going with that and you become insulin resistant in your 30's, then diabetic in your 40's. you DON'T want that miserable life - you become a hostage within your own skin.

Everyone should know what mitosis aka cell division is, and that cells can only divide so many times throughout their lifespans.

What you need to do is limit the amount of cell division. It will keep you biologically younger. But how does one do that? Simple, eat less. A low caloric diet is linked to a longer lifespan. Now of course minerals and vitamins come into play in cell function and protecting cells, so you should eat plenty of vegetables.

A varied plant based diet with balanced macros (something like 50%c/30%f/20%p) centered around whole foods. Doesn't have to be vegan as long as you're careful not to eat too much saturated fat and cholesterol.

I try to eat only between 12h, mostly manage less than that though so I guess I'm kinda doing intermittent fasting? Can't really decide if I really want to fully commit to bulking since eating all the time makes me bloated and slow. On the other hand when I'm not eating all the time I lift far worse.

Coffee, fruit/nuts/oats daily as a smoothie, try to eat as many vegetables as possible, eat noodle/rice based "main" meals. I honestly stopped caring about perfect macros once I developed this kind of routine. Also, fiber. Shit's awesome (pun intended.)

Every study in humans shows that weight lifting is good and improves insuling sensitivity and bone density independant of cardio. Maybe if you look at a very tiny subpopulation of natties that have pushed to the limit, it's possible that this not good for you.
