youre probably dehydrated from all the sodium and need magneisum + potassium. If you ever drink orange juice after eating pizza it tastes better than normal because of how bad your body is craving potassium and magnesium after all that sodium you just ingested
If you drink something like +2l of water with the pizza, wouldn't you cover the mineral imbalance and eventual dehydration?

Its more to do with the stress of having to process that much food. In this case the body would want less protien and carbs and fats are easier to digest

I actually tried my hand today at making a "Healthy" Pizza, went for high protein everything, even the dough was 50% fat free greek yogurt
What I ended up with was a 11" pizza (Small is 10" Med is 12") with
834 Calories
131.9g Carbs
3.7g Fat
70.2g Protein
For comparison a Small Dominos Pizza is
1250 Calories
157g Carbs
47g Fat
50g Protein

Brand new to cooking because I'm trying to save money and eat better.
It was easy AF, first time for me ever making sauce, pizza, or even dough so anyone should be able.
I followed this recipe exactly for the sauce

Followed it to the letter, honestly tasted great
The dough is:
1 cup no fat Greek Yogurt, look at the nutrient facts at the store because that shit
1 cup self rising flower
pour in a bowl and Kneed till...well dough (I used a kitchen aid) spread to 10-11" and done, pour on 1/3 cup of sauce
and top it off with 4oz of fat free mozzarella cheese
popped it in the oven for 20-30 mins at 400 degrees until edges start to brown and done
pic related is 2nd one I made right after with toppings, added about another 170-200 cal IIRC total

Some has high AF protein, some has like the exact carb/pro ratio but in reverse (all carb), I compared them all at the store and got pic related.
And speaking from someone new to cooking, making the sauce at first, sizzling the anchovies in the oil and crap, felt fucking wrong, it smelled weird and I was sure I was doing something wrong...Turned out great though, just goes to show follow directions to the letter when your fucking retarded and have no idea what your doing (me)
It tasted different, not bad, but not like pizza I'm used to. Granted I'm used to 1kg of carb dripping with oil insanity.
The dough tasted kinda like sourdough honestly, not regular pizza dough.
All and all, it was good, I'm happy with it
