Go through about 2 months of a strength phase with 3x5 increased to 5x5 for your lifts. Then let's say you've reached a point of doing 225lbs hip thrusts or close to it, you start doing 4 to 6 sets of 8 reps to 12 reps for a few months. Ultimately you want to incorporate something like the German Volume Training or 20 Rep Program to really pump up the sarcoplasmic hypertrophy.
