I want my abs to show so badly. I didn’t mean to do this pose. I suppose i unconsciously didn’t want to show my stomach yet since my abs aren’t where I want them, so i put my hand there. I wish I didn’t because you can see the abs a bit if i flex them. I should have been more confident as the photo was being taken. I do compound exercise, ab isolation exercise, and cardio exercise 6 times a week at the gym. I would say I eat cleaner than most. Eating 1g of protein per pound of body weight can be tough. Especially when cutting. Any advice?

Alright. But only going 3 days a week would make me feel like I could be doing more. Even with my current routine. I don’t go 7 days a week only because I don’t want diminishing returns. Since muscles and nerves need rest. What pisses me off the most is i’m forced to go to Planet Fitness because it’s the closest gym to my house and my job (both 10 mins walking distance) and I don’t have a car yet. I can’t train how i want to yet.

As far as gains/cuts go... your abs are there, underneath your bit of stored fat. I can tell you eat the wrong foods. cut back on bread and pasta. Eat more eggs and butter and meat. In the long run (span of a day) these high fat foods will satiate you.

If you are a beginner, which you look like, 3 times a week is perfect because you’ll be able to up your total workout volume, which is the most important thing you can do at the gym to grow your muscles.

I know that feel. I go to a similar commercial gym and it’s horrible, as they lack proper and enough equipment.
My family and I are Italian. So there is a lot of bread and pasta. However I refuse to eat them unless they are whole wheat pasta/bread or veggie pasta. Same goes for rice. Always brown. No white. The sticky says whole grain bread/pasta is ok I believe. If it will help lower my bf% I am willing to cut them both out.
Definitely a beginner. Believe me, I would follow the 3 day a week routine if Planet Fitness didn’t have a cap for their barbell weights. There is only 4 Bench Press machines where you can go higher than 60Ibs and they are always in use. My goal is to get a vehicle so I can drive to a better gym. Then I’ll consider giving 3 days a week. Full body, heavy lifts. As much as my strength can allow, and less reps to really put pressure on my muscles.

well whole grain is more of the same except MORE. That big bowl of pasta does the same thing to your system that a can a pop does, insulin spikes, fat is stored.

Cut it short, long hair makes thinning hair/bald spots look worse. Long term, think about getting buff, growing a beard, and shaving your head. Alternatively, you could get one of those hair transplants or try some of those hair retaining chemicals like rogaine.
