Looks like shit to me

When I started lifting with bar only it would take me 30min-1hr. Now when I lift heavy it's 2hro minimum. So when you start lifting heavy.

Headphones
Snacks

I'm the opposite, I struggle to add everything I want within a reasonable time. But have you tried adding more exercises mate?

youtube.com/watch?v=FMncbdtwic4

>Snacks
Fucking burgers

Whats your routine like and how long do you rest between sets?

You need to loathe the way you look/yourself more. That's it.

>he doesnt buy falcon food, a large popcorn and 2l of coke from the cinema then lift slowly in the gym while thinking about the bergman kino he just watched
found the dyel
bet your falcon is a bitch too

Listen to audible.

By doing morr than one exercise and resting between sets

I use duolingo app to learn German during rest periods

lmfao I have trouble keeping my workouts under two hours. Get your shit together.

Heavy compounds that require long rests.
If you're a novice, try ICF 5x5

This. Warming up for heavy deadlifts already takes forever and then I have to rest between sets.

Wait, how the fuck?
Lets say you simply do a flat bench, for like 5 sets and have 3 minute rest time. It literally takes you 15 minutes (half of your working time) just resting. And you usually have around 4 to 5 exercises per body part.

Volume or intensity. Pick one.

If intensity have longer rest periods and move a shit ton of weight. If volume you should have limited intervals and do a ton of sets. I struggle to keep under an hour. Also, incorporate stretches, warmups, and cardio if you need more time in the gym. They're all things you should be in the habit of but i never bother with

I find it almost impossible to get out of the gym under 1 hour. Essential compounds already take up more than 45 minutes. Add in a few some accessories and I'm there for almost 2 hours. I want to add more accessories but that'll take the whole damn day.

if you dont take a 5 min rest between each set of your compounds then youre doing it wrong
thats 30 mins at least in resting, then you have your accessories like pull ups, curls, 20 mins of cardio afterwards etc

I stay for 3 hours every day, 1h one muscle group, 1h another, 1h for showering and stuff

gibi a cute fuck off

i just do regular brosplits and my workouts last for 70-90 minutes. lots of dropsets, rest pauses, supersets et cetera. 30+ sets for every muscle usually

Lol are you a fucking female? Hour to shower "and stuff"????? You probably are on Instagram for 10mins after each set of your shit form squats and other gym thot workouts

your waifu a shit

compared to others she's not all that special, plus her sideprofile is just sheesh

Attached: 1535094513356.png (394x500, 181K)

i dont keep track of time or lifts when at the gym. its like im in my own world with the weight and the feeling of my muscles. i just start with barbell compounds, go to dumbbell compounds, and do tons of shit. feels great

I used to stay for 4+ hours back in the day, find a good album, hit a 2 and a half hour workout, then hit an hour cardio session and finally go to the sauna for 30 minutes.

didn't ask for your opinion

You either do a meme routine with 3x10 on 5 different exercises per body part, or you do a non-meme routine and end up lifting so heavy that you need 10 minute rest periods.

One exercise with high intensity, three-four volume exercises, and then either abs or cardio. I'm usually in the gym for 90 minutes, six days a week.

As you get in better shape add more exercises. I would go until I knew my muscles were shot and were completely fucked. That takes more sets, more weight, more reps the longer you go.

Also this

Did Jewtube push Gibi because she’s Jewish? I’ve never seen her as being anything special in the ASMR community

Even when I lifted a year back half assed I got in at least an hour. Like people have been saying, get in the compounds and accessories. Also threw in some light cardio at the end as well.

It really depends on how long I'm at the gym, but it's usually 60-75 minutes in total. That includes warming up, waiting for power racks or machines to become available and rest times.

Today, for instance, I have had a HIIT day. It looks a little something like this:

1/2 mile run
30 sec sprint
30 sec rest
30 sec sprint
30 sec rest
30 sec sprint
30 sec rest

Note that when I say run I am at 6-7 mph, and sprint is at 10-11 mph.

Repeat five times. To me the hardest part is the running, even though it's at a slower speed. It feels like I am fatigued very quickly, but I suffer through it. Anyways, I digress. This whole routine took me about 40 minutes even though I only needed a treadmill to do it.

Other days I warm up for like 20 minutes, then spend about 40 minutes doing my actual workout.

ICF looks like absolute shit. Fuck off.

It's because she's cute and her stuff is high quality. Also appeals to weabs who want a pretend weab gf

Mine usually last 1 and a half to two hours, one heavy compound plus 3 accessory exercises for 3 body parts each workout for 10 exercises a time.

darling is a literal goddess next to her

You guys who lifts for more than an hour per session will burn out in a few years.

I’m in my 7th year now and most of my sessions are 40min or less. You guys fucking around in there for 1.5-3 hours are going to be burnt out soon.

didn't ask for your opinion

Post your gf or fuckbuddy

Do compounds then accessories, if you are doing it truthfully, how do you finish to exhaustion in under an hour? Unless you have the endurance of n 80 year old chemotherapy patient

Burnt out of what?

I really don't know, unless you're an SS kid with five minute rests between sets. I'm done in 45 minutes even with higher volume than average.

Chest day takes 2+he
Flat bench warm up starting with 1pl8, add 20lbs each set until 245. Then do 5 sets of 3-4@245. Take 3-4 minute rests in-between those sets
Incline dumbbell 3 sets 8-12 reps. 2-3 minute rests between sets.
Cable flys-3 sets high to low, 3 center, 3 low to high, 8-12 reps each
Do triceps. All 3 sets of 8-12 reps. All 1-2 minute rests
Tricep pull downs
Overhead dumbbell tricep extensions (use one dumbbell, not two desu)
Skull crushers
Takes around 2 hours usually. I let myself rest a bit long sometimes reading through boards between sets

Does warming up genuinely improve your bench?

I usually stay for 90 minutes just because people clog up the shit i need to use
I'd be done in half of that if there weren't boomers doing meme exercises everywhere

uniornically yes.
Active warmup always improves mobility+strength.
Static stretching kills strength. Stretch for recovery, not warmup

researchgate.net/publication/40483585_Effects_of_Warming-up_on_Physical_Performance_A_Systematic_Review_With_Meta-analysis

Darling is also trash at the actual ASMR

2min rest between sets, 8 sets per compound, then super sets of accessories

First, it's science that not warming up will make you more susceptible to injuries
Second, yes. I've had days I didn't do enough reps for warm-ups and my first working set I'll struggle like a bitch to get that third rep. Next set I'll hit five reps with less struggle

Why are you resting for 3 minutes? Work on some conditioning

When you get old, you have to do multiple warm up sets not to injure yourself. Don't see how you can get out of the gym in under an hour.

dyel?

2 muscle groups, 4 exercises peer muscle group, each exercise with 4 or 5 sets, how is it possible to take less then 2 hours?

After that I sit in a corner for about 15minutes looking at thots. And I take like 30minutes showering, some times I also go to the sauna for 10 minutes.

Dyel confirmed

By being stronger than DYEL-tier. Routines only take a short time when you're starting off and wiggling around baby weight and are fully recovered in seconds for the next set. Eventually you'll reach the point where you're gasping for air after your working sets and you need 5 minutes or possibly longer.

On mondays I do 5x5s of the major lifts and it takes a long fucking time.

Even just running around the gym collecting and hauling over plates takes a long time for DLs.

fucking dyels coming in here acting like they know shit

I've been lifting for 5 years and I have always worked out 3/week with sessions generally lasting 90-120 minutes. If you want people to get burnt out, the best way to do that would be this meme shit where you're going in 5-6 days a week. Because that's the only way you're going to lift seriously while keeping things 40 minutes or less.

chad as fuck

Sadly you're right. But we were talking about looks.

a squat session alone can take anywhere from 30-40min, add in a few more compunds, some light accessory work, and cardio and im in there for another 45min to an hour

I just go until my grip strength gives out or my penis gets all shrively

2019 is the year of the bloat. Get wit the times boomer

I do this unironically because /homegym/ and might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone and get in some calories while I'm waiting

>not lifting at home literally all day while using rest periods to look at foot fetish porn

absolutely disgusting

stop being a faggot its really not that hard

Same but with french. Maybe I'll do German next

when she was brunette yea

meant for

2 minutes is more realistic imo. Still 10 minutes per exercise and ~4 lifts per muscle group. You’ll end up in the gym an hour and 10 or an hour and 20 depending on what muscle groups you’re working. Plus cardio puts you at almost 2 hours if you’re doing a 4 mile run or more.

Why do you need 4 lifts per muscle group? Are you roiding?

lmao at all these SS fags itt
if you rest more than 1 minute, you are not gonna make it

>have two of the big movements per workout
>lift them at 80-90% of your rpe with progressive overload
>take 5 minute rests per set
>finish it with accessory lifts
And that's how four hours just fly by for me.

What? I always do 4 per muscle group for legs, chest, or back.

Chest: flat bench, incline, decline, flies
Legs: squats, deadlifts (I do it on leg day fuck off), Bulgarians split squats, leg press
Back: lat pulldown, seated rows, flies, bent over rows

That’s not even that much volume imo.

Actually lift hard.
I guarantee you don't even lift.

It’s PPLxPPL, by the way.

>he counts the bar
>can't bench 2lmaopl8

As you get stronger you're going to need to be at the gym longer to get through each exercise.

When I first started SL 5x5 it would take me 30-45 minutes to finish. By the 4th-5th month it was taking me about an hour and a half to get through everything.

Moving heavy weights exhausts your body, you have to take 3-5 minute rests between each set to be able to let your body recover enough to finish the next set. If you're doing 5 sets and thats about 15-30 minutes to finish each exercise.

Then you'll probably lift to an intermediate routine with more stuff to do and itll start taking more time.

My PPL has me at the gym about 1 1/2 hours - 2 hours each night depending on how tired I'm feeling that day.

It's just a natural progression user.

Leave since you asked a question like that.

Lift heavy, full body. I'd imagine if you are doing a bunch of isolations and compounds for volume it would be easy as fuck. It's the rest times that take the most time after all.

Yes, warming up isn't a meme and it doesn't take long unless it's a deadlift. Deadlift because it's a bitch getting the weight on it.

Lift heavier weight. Deadlifting alone is a half hour process at an absolute minimum for me. That doesn't include the warm up and the cleans before, or the rows and RDLs after.

>shorter rest time between sets increases HGH release by the body
Cool - thanks for the info. I’ll shoot for 90 seconds rest.

Warmup
Lift heavy
Make your workout intense so rest times are long
Do more exercises
It's the easiest thing in the world to take 1.5-2 hours just doing 5 exercises, I wish I could be done in 30-60 minutes like you

>Snacks

based

So basically these guys are resting for half the time in the gym.

user, to get the most strength possible, to truly maximize their strength growth...they would need at least 15 hours of gym time a day.

It would take at least 10-20 minutes of real rest between sets to fully rest so they can fully push themselves.
But not like max every half hour or something, liek lift heavy as fuck shit but not max.

No shit, anyone who lifts seriously knows this. A set itself takes what? a minute max? By that logic a 5x5 should only take a max of 5 minutes, and a session of 3 main compound lifts in this manner would be 15 minutes. Obviously the majority of the time in the gym is going to be waiting between sets to recharge. If this isn't the case, all you're doing is fucking cardio.

I do one muscle group
About 5 to 6 workouts , all 2 warm up sets and 4 sets
2 minute rest

I'm new but was told by a friend that this is good for beginners looking to lose weight and gain some muscle for a few months until I start adding more muscle groups but half the workouts for each.

>3 minute rest time

I’m not trying to take a fuckin nap at the gym

I fucking hate her blue hair videos, but the mermaid vids are top tier. Nothing else comes close except Springbok hotel.

Better question is how do people not stay at the gym for two (2) hours?

>That’s not even that much volume imo
You're a fucking idiot who's obviously not lifting hard enough then. Post body

What's wrong with her nose. Gross 5/10
