I can do 8 with 30kg, I don't do regular pullups

Like 6 with good form, more if I start to swing and cheat

HH brother

The skelly manlets are going to win this thread. Back in highschool (*cracks open a Monster*), I used to do 30 in a row after training for like a month. Some people didn't believe it was possible. Think I weighted 120 lbs.

10 to 12 with bodyweight, recently started doing weighted and at 25lbs for 5

Probably around 20 no added weight. I weigh around 90kg tho. Max clean for muscle ups is around 8, max trash form is like 15

i still cant do a single one

should i just kill myself?

No fren you should do assisted pullups and start rock climbing

At least 23

No. Buy a pull-up bar for your place and do negatives every day until you can.

19

Anything past 10 and you need to start adding weights. There's no point anymore.

t. 7 but 145lbs 5'10 skinnyfag

Noob at pull-ups here. Are neutral grip pull-ups alright? I can do normal pull-ups, but they leave a sharp pain in my forearm. Can I stick with neutral grip? Or should I just tough it out and do normal pull-ups?

You should do all kinds of pull ups. Have some variety.

Do what I did at 230lbs and bust your ass until you can do one.

I used to be able to do 8, started doing them weighted, then bulked some more, and now I need a break after 3 unweighted, negative progress.

8. Tfw 2m wingspan skelly

anyone here managed to do single arm chinups/pullups for reps? ive just started trying and its fucking hard as shit, i cant even do a negative, first try i did one barely with a 10kg counterweight
got any tips?

Hulkamania brother

This summer I was able to do 4, but then I injured myself.
Started again with zero in the beginning of December, now I can do 2.
Am I doing good?

If we're talking actual, full-range, purposeful, proper form pull ups, and not chin ups or shit form where you use the momentum of your body to swing yourself up, then my physical limit is exactly 18. I realistically do half of that in a given set.

Argument could be made for it, depending on what muscle group you're trying to focus.

10 is my max wide a wide grip and I haven't managed to improve it in at least a year. Pull ups are suffering.

Like 3 really strict ones

I'm at 200 pounds so only about 17 perfect form pull ups. When i get back down to 180 should go up to 20-23

Look up Scooby's videos on how to do your first pull up. It worked for me

This. If you can jump, you can get your body trained to do pull ups. If you can't do a single pull up, your lats and biceps are lackin, and you can condition them by doing negatives. Biceps can be targeted with other exercises for accelerated results, but lats are a little harder to target at home for a beginner.

Depends if the goal is to build. Typically, people doing calisthenics have other goals.

Sharp pain isn't a good sign. Forearm's in charge of wrist motion, so it would make sense that different hand grips would cause you pain. Have you tried both pronated/suppinated grip as well as neutral? Technically neutral will build the same muscle groups, but it's less focused and more general, so it would take longer to see the same results.

5 with good form, pretty much a DYEL right now though I could do more in the past when I was stricter with my training and diet

3 here as well

Oh fuck

When should I start doing weghted pull ups? I can consistently do about 10-12 unweighted ones

In one set? 12

The lack of emphasis on my biceps really makes me feel it in the lats. Wide arm just makes me feel like I'm taking a chainsaw to my back though.

9 chinups

I'm 6'2 230lbs as well. Can do one if I'm warmed up. Otherwise none. 3-4 chin ups. What do you mean by bust your ass? Can u do 10 now?

Long time ago. Do weighted one day of the week and bodyweight the other.

guys should i do pulls up/chin up every day or every 2 days?

tfw all these chads doing 30 pull-ups,i smell half reps or kipping ones.

I surrender

Based polposter

I did 18 today hoping to get 20+

Chk gghjddyknhxdguy vvcc fccn dying ssh h ttc fb

Do I need a weight vest or can I use a backpack with weights inside? I'm a bit worried that the backpack might fuck with the distribution of weight but I don't want to invest in a weight vest if not necessary

I can do one, but I'm a lardass at 95 kilos, so it's not that bad. I noticed that the grip fails me, so I do a lot of farmers walks and dead hangs in addition to assisted pullups.

i can do 5 or 6
could even do one 3 month ago
also im fat as shit

I can do only 3

Same here lads.
I hope it goes up once I start cutting, atm I'm just focused on 1/2/3/4

>tough it out

If you're getting a sharp pain this is the worst possible thing you can do.

13 good ones 16 altogether

13
i'm 5'11 and 183lbs

1, just started 2 days ago. I went from hanging on to the bar to being able to do 1

I can do 10 without much effort. About to start training for muscle ups.

6'2 250 lbs strongfat here.

8 pull ups. enough for me

30 reps.

20 with 15% of my body weight on.

10

I used to do it like 4 years ago but dropped working out.
Got to it by doing it with one hand on the bar and other on a forearm. Try to lower the other hand bit by bit and you will get there

10 with 20kg weighted vest.

I remember when I started lifting I could only do 1 or 2 pull ups. After like 1 month of SS I could do 6 wide grip in a row pretty easily, but I gained pretty much no weight in that time. We're all gonna make it don't take yourself out pal.

10-15

somewhere in between 600 and 800, depends on how im feeling when i do it. Gonna set a world record for most pull ups within a certain time frame.

1-2.... yeah I'm really ashamed to do them, that's why I don't have the guts to practise them at the bar and instead try to gain strength at the machines... pls help me bros!

wew

Just hold a dumbbell between your feet mano

I can do 7 chin ups with good form, so probably 2 pull ups

based and checked

Not enough to bring ber back

9

Attached: 1530832600997.png (817x656, 127K)

10 with good form and width
but I can squeeze out an additional 3 reps with a bit shitty form after the 10th
I'm 80 kg

Use one of those counterweight machines that makes them easier

>I'm 80kg
CUTE
