Redpill Me On Rowing Ergometers

Redpill me on rowing ergs, simple as that.

Buddy of mine who is apeshit about rowing got me interested in it. Seems it's done wonders for his forearms and legs.

Shameless self bump

They're good. All my rower friends in school made sick back, quad and forearm gains from them. The rowers were generally faggots, though I doubt that was due to the ergometers.

they're great for HIIT but a bit boring if you have to do a full hour

After 4 years of rowing i pulled a 6:03 2k. They hurt a lot. You're better off lifting and then using the stair climber for cardio.

Memes, but cardio is cardio. So might as well use these if you are too fat to run on a threadmill and can't/don't want to use a bike for whatever reason. Also good for warming up before an upper body workout I guess, but (I guess) it might be hard to do cardio sessions for longer periods and getting your HR up to a decent level. All just guesses, as I prefer to run and bike (if I'm lazy), because these are actually functional.
That said don't ever buy one of these things, if that is what you are thinking about.

>That said don't ever buy one of these things
Why not?
Rower bodies are top tier

Too fucking expensive (just like all good cardio machines) and
>[aethlete type] bodies are top tier
is literally a meme.

>is literally a meme.
Ah yes you'll get the exact same body if you row an hour a day vs if you cycle an hour a day.

am I right friend

Not him, but if someone has the money, and they are disciplined enough to not puss-out and ACTUALLY USE THE DAMN MACHINE, then what harm could it do?
