enjoy your death. it's anti-vaccer tier bs that is even more harmful.
Bit hostile seeing as I didn't even provide my opinion on it but ok. What about all the dairy consuming cultures prior to pasteurization?
Good goy.
it's best ot get to know the farmer / farm / cows. raw milk is great for healthy gut bacteria, but only if it's from a happy, healthy, and clean cow / farm.
there's been things mentioned about pasteurization changing the protein chains or something but i've never seen studies about it so i'd take that with twelve grains of salt
It’s fine as long as it’s handled correctly and you buy fresh locally.
Thank you for the measured answer. I picked up a litre from a local reputable farm shop. The milk was dispensed from a machine that self sterilizes in between purchases. Looks legit to me, but it's not really a cosy little family operation where I can get to know the farmers well.

Does it really matter if the cow is happy or not or is that just to make the consumer feel better?
Think it must have some effect, I would imagine a chronically stressed animal in poor conditions would produce inferior meat and milk.
It has to be absolutely fresh, collected under the most sterile conditions possible, and consumed almost immediately. Even then there's still a risk of contamination with things like E.coli that will fuck your shit up. There's a reason things like Pasteurization were developed and are used widespread.
Been drinking raw milk daily for years. Still no issues. I never actually knew that it could be dangerous.
It's commonly known that what a human mother eats and drinks ends up in her breast milk. Since cows are mammals what you're drinking is the bovine equivalent, therefore anything the cow eats and drinks will affect what it's milk tastes like and the overall quality. Similarly if the cows are kept in unsanitary condtions and treated poorly it'll affect the quality of the end-product.
I've been buying certified organic milk and cream for a while now, and the difference in taste and quality are dramatic. The organic stuff is richer and tastier.
it's the same as a mother's breast milk, a stressed mother will impart stress hormones into the milk, and even potentially output less nutrients due to the body's physical response to that state of stress (potentially as far as a survival state) holding onto what it thinks it needs.
a healthy and relaxed cow makes the absolute best dairy, this is very known.
>dubs and trips; 'full house', 7's full of 5's
Is it being collected and used like I said? Probably yes.
Not sure about ''collecting under the most sterile conditions''
My grandmother milks it into bucket and filters it through gauze
Do the cows get their udders washed? Or are they covered in cow shit? Is the bucket clean? Is the gauze clean? Does the milk sit around for hours or days or does it get used right away? Details matter when you're handling any food product.
>drink raw milk from local farmer throughout childhood
>never get sick
>lasts >2 weeks in the fridge
>creamy af
what's it like living in constant fear? do you need to be hooked up to machines in a hospital to make sure your fragile body doesnt fail from breathing in dust particles?
any farmer with 2 brain cells can/will wash some tits for milk. easy job but I guess that's a hard concept for sheltered suburbanites.
They are washed. The bucket always gets washed and the gauze is obviously always new.
Well, see? That all sounds perfectly reasonable.
Most people have never lived on a farm and don't think anyone could use food products that aren't heavily processed in some way without risking serious illness. That's bullshit of course but there is a middle ground.
they hook them up to machine so udders don't have a chance to get covered in shit
>Are there significant risks?
poverty
gained 5kg in 2 months without issue when I started drinking some raw milk.
would recommend.
make sure you have a good source
you can cook it to make sureits good.
Well, I did it now. I chugged half a litre. If I an hero I will get my mum to do a RIP thread for me.
Don't be a pussy. I drank both those jars and gonna drink half of the big jar.
Imagine the smell
kek
Based.
Tastes amazing. Possibly some minor benefits, nothing for certain. If you have a reputable producer in your area, enjoy. Various maniacs think it's some sort of cure-all, though.
