I’m the most DYEL at 5’10 1/2 and 18 years old.
I’m think since I gained so much weight over the holidays I’m going to do OMAD for a couple days (Eating just a bag of $2 pork rinds and a quest cookie a day for probably 25g of carbs) then do a 4 day fast.
All this time I’ll be doing 50 push ups, 50 pull ups, and a 1.5 mile run on my elliptical a day because that’s about all I can do now.
Thoughts? Goal weight is 150-155
13 months lifting, 5'8, 163 lbs. Routine below.
Push/pull 3x a week each, no legs besides only DL on pull days and learning to squat.
Push: bench press 5x5
Either DB incline press 3x8 or 5x5 BB incline press
OHP 5x5 or 3x5, change it up
Seated DB shoulder press 3x5
Seated OHP press with smith machine 5x5

How close am I to being decently aesthetic? What lifting program would you recommend for someone who only wants to look good and doesn’t care about getting big? I want to try something new since I’ve just been doing full body for a while

thanks. mostly lots of volume squats. sometimes I do 10x12 of different squat variations and call it a workout. Really helps to break through plateaus

How much progress have you made between autumn and now? Current stats?

Benching 3x a week, didn't do any assistance lifts for it (incline, pin press, etc.), but I did 2 tricep accessories every bench workout.
Did nSuns 5 day 5/3/1 for the first 9 months, which got me to a 125kg bench. Although I think there are probably better programs out there, it just worked great because of all of the volume. Now I'm doing Nuckols' 3x intermediate for bench and it's working great.
I use a fairly close grip and focus a lot on triceps, I think that helped a good bit.

As I sit down in shame, the black family of our friend's that we were there with returned. They started making a scene and we're all up in the faces of the people who berated me, ready to steal off on anyone who dare flinch. Mind you, our friend's family consisted of at least four young black men who were "bout it". Not to mention the others. After one of my friend's was pulled away from the table where the antagonists were, I jumped up out of seat in joy and clasped him in my arms. In a hyped moment of relief and salvation, I shouted: "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!". The cavalry had arrived to save me from the scrutinizing restaurant goers! I was no longer alone in this fight!
