Don't do it. I was addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. I drank like a fiend and it had ruinous consequences for my social health and mental health. It gripped me like a vice that felt impossible to escape from.
Well guess what. I still smoke. I was even hooked on painkillers for a couple years and they don't hold a candle to how hard smoking is to quit.

what will happen is everyone who has been in your shoes will tell you to stop because they've been there, and became addicted. then you won't listen because you're a dumb teenager. you will get addicted and within no time, you will be smoking away 1/4 of your paycheck. if you haven't quit by ~23 y/o, you will start feeling the cardiac and lung effects, and maybe become aware of how addiction affects you and makes you a seriously anxious and turbulent person. by 30 you'll be stuck in an endless loop and you'll look older than you should. you'll start hating smoking but will do it anyways.
