They're all shit. Getting stronger isn't complicated.

forgot to add that im mainly asking for form videos.

>watching other men who lift on youtube
Why would you do this? Just go fucking lift weights and eat better. It's not magic.

Hello, boomer here. Why do I struggle so much tk watch YouTube videos? They just make me cringe hard. No matter the subject really either whether it be vidya or fitness. I just can't bring myself to watch them. Is it a generational thing? Is it because I'm on the spectrum? Is it a combination of both? Is it something else altogether?

brian alsruhe for form tips and athleanx for when you have an injury

Is this pic a "count natties" game? I think there are 0.5 tops

athleanx brian alsruhe and alan thrall are for me

NON NEGOTIABLE

Imagine watching any of these twats

BroScienceLife, but only his earlier videos
his content quality took a nosedive around mid-2015

fellow 30yo boomer here and I would literally rather kill myself than watch someone play games on youtube

Jeff Cavaliere, Alan Thrall, Jeff Nippard

These are the only ones you should take seriously in any way shape or form

When it comes to fitness e-celeb shit, you really have to divide into two categories of worthwhile content: informational, and entertainment.

For information, Athlean X is unironically good advice most of the time. Nippard is also genuinely informative when he does his journal review shit, even if I find the guy himself to be a cringey reddit soiboi.

As far as entertainment, honestly all I can think of is BroScienceLife. When he posts, anyway.

Philion

I remember when he was still latsbrah
Before he converted to Jow Forums

>Athlean X
Watch this for some tips you can add to your routine. Following his videos generally keep you informed about preventing injury and good form.
>Alan Thrall
Watch this for information about compound movements, he generally knows his stuff despite looking like a literal T-rex.

Seconded. I like his rationality and direction in life. He's a bit goofy sometimes, but it makes him relatable.

>that hairlet cooe on the right

I completely understand the vidya thing. I enjoy dudes making stuff though. Whether it be rings, woodwork, blacksmithing or my favourite autistic Japanese dude who makes functional knives out of random shit (chocolate, jelly, underwear, cardboard, ice, etc)

Pic related

>youtubers NEED to continue to post videos non stop to drive traffic to their channel
>eating properly and lifting in the most effective way is not so complicated
>after a while there is nothing important to continue to cover, but they need new videos anyway

it's a recipe for a big and old channel to be filled with useless information, if you don't researched for yourself you're not gonna have any idea if you're watching actual core/base/good information or ridiculous/experimental/sub-optimal/ineffective/very case specific information

op here, the pic isnt mine i just pulled it from google
what about omarisuf, alphadestiny etc? i saw the names on the board a couple times thats why im asking

my problem is ive read the same information from couple of sources be it rippetoe, martin berkhan etc etc and i get the main points of dieting and training my main concern is the forms of my lifts and i feel like every youtube channel describes something else i cant find the "right way" to do stuff.

make a channel and watch yourself all the time.
Only alpha answer.

>my main concern is the forms

I think the amount of sources and people making a effort to become a source of information makes it difficult today for new lifters to chose where to learn from...

What I did when I was trying to improve my online acquired knowledge (I've been lifting for 13 years) was to hire a professional who can actually see what I'm doing to teach me (there is a guy in my city who was a high level national competitor and have the degrees to back the knowledge) and read a few biomechanics books, when you really learn the function, insertion points and contraction angles of your muscles and develop a deeper mind-muscle connection (which comes with time) you don't need to decorate the movements anymore and can adapt/change your workout without having to rely on others anymore, I deeply recommend doing both

i doubt i will read biomechanics soon, i know its important but im lifting to compliment my grappling; and i saw that rippetoe's book has many biomechanic stuff in it; im still reading it.

as for the hiring the professional part, i think i can try to find at least a legit guy with proven competition, etc. how and when should i approach the person? do i try to find out my mistakes before reaching out to them, do i lift a month or two more (ive only been lifting for a month then i got a neck injury from grappling). this idea actually feels like it will be worth the cost

>buffed

fuck outta here normie brainlet manlet facelet jawlet dicklet tastelet

fit why do i hate every fitness personality and everyone that looks like he goes to the gym even tho i lift aswell?

Fucking hairlets

PLEEZ SUBSCRAAB TO MUH YOUTOOB CHANNEL
NEW VIDEOS EVERY DECADE

Well, that's for you to decide, if you think you can improve by yourself fast why not to improve so you don't lose money having to pay someone for unnecessary time, but if you are' stuck or don't feel like you're improving I think it's worth it

but don't look for a personal trainer for carrying weights for you, that's money thrown away, hire someone to teach and correct and make it very clear, I hired this guy for 6 months and was one of the best sources of my knowledge, but of course if you want to you can learn the same by downloading and reading free pdf books, I don't know where you live but in some countries people charge just way too much for this kind of job

sadly the city i live in doesnt have many powerlifters, but i found some people with competition videos (no medals or anything though). i dont think on gettting personal training type help but i will try to ask them about a week or something of helping with the forms.
i also have to keep in mind that these people might give me bad advice, like when looking through i saw someone that is locally famous posted a video saying dont ever hold your breath when lifting.

I've been doing my facepulls and they do work, feeling the stress behind the neck is awesome, 2 weeks in and I already see a posture improvement. Can't wait to have a fully alined spine

He is still around? I thought he went to shit when he became a try hard insulting monks on the street

Buff dudes are great for entertainment. Their homemade family approach is the comfiest of all, hope Hudson gets well soon

BroScienceLife aka dom mazzetti and his younger brother bradley martyn are the only acceptable answers

John Meadows. No bullshit, good advice,’doesn’t try to be a faggot about things like the guys who do YouTube for a living and sell their personality

Barbell Medicine, Reactive Training Systems, Renaissance Periodization, or Team3DMJ.

Literally all other recommendations are made by/for DYELs

Agreed.

DUDE, thanks for the sick chest gains!

Check out Alphadestiny. There's a reason he's seen so much attention here.

His Naturally Enhanced program is unmatched.

when watching fitness youtubers there should be a balance of being informative/being annoying to watch
not everybody can pull it off

I dont generally like SS, but the book has some very good lit on form.
I also like buffdudes form videos. Just disregard all the broscience on YouTube

Quit shillposting Alex, no one wants to listen to your manlet ass

>COACH
you misspelled Klinefelter's

My GF looked over my shoulder and saw this.
>What is that?
>What is he doing?
>Why does he look like that?
>His arms are small, but his curves are... prominent.

Damn, 6 months of SS + GOMAD looks like THAT?
