I did my undergrad there. Didn't like it either. The sad thing is whenever anyone talks about how "great" Iowa City is, I have to like nod and pretend like it doesn't have a grand total of 2 good restaurants and fucking nothing to do.

Prairie Lights is a mediocre bookstore, too. I don't know why people pretend it isn't.

When they say "it's so great" they actually mean "there's no nigs" which is essentially the same thing.
