If you hold a plank with proper form for longer than 2 minutes you will certainly feel it. The redpill is fix your shitty form. Learn to tuck your tailbone and flex your glutes and abs.
Your elbows are probably too low, have them under your forehead and you'll feel it more. Most people go for time which is retarded, focus on actually contracting the your abs.

planks are a good meme and gets people to work on their transverse abdominis; however “i’m already doing planks” should not be an excuse for you from doing other absominal exercises. dont forget you have 3 layers of abdominal muscles: rectus, transverse and oblique (internal and external)

this. it took me a while to actually figure out why I couldn’t feel anything but then I tried doing a plank with my shoes off and my elbows maybe half an inch more forward than my shoulders and now I can feel it in my abs
Then you need to progress by decreasing leverage and/or adding weight
Same goes for pushups. Progress to performing planche pushups.
