Hit a new social gains PR, talked to 2 people at the gym this weekend.
Good job fren me too. Starting to get intimate with my girl.
We're all gonna make it frens
Good job frens
i PR'd all my lifts 2 weeks ago, ready to get mogged on weak little faggot?
155/330/400/500
cant push DL over 500 cuz theres no more room on the bar with the mixing and matching i need to do with my bumper plates. dyel bro?
also your gunna make it fren keep at it
douche is me
dipped 35 kg x 5 at 85 kg
I might be weak now but atleast im 6'5 lol
See you in 3 years I'll mog your ass
Spread the positivity kek
You kinda made already with those lifts didnt you? Post body maybe?
do it faggot
t. 6'3 u actually could mog me if u start lifting like a man
im still fat, on a hyper cut now down 20lbs in 1 month, once i lose another 40 ill post body
What body do you get from being able to lift as much as you do? I guess nutrition and genetics are more important to the way you look than what you lift. But still mirrin those stats how long youve been lifting?
Nice mandude! Congrats. I did 82kg 1 rep recently and im happy about it. This year hoping to get to 100kg.
Yes, hit 130kg deadlift for 5. I'm kinda sad because my bulk ended last week and I'm 100% sure I'll stale of even get weaker on the insane cut I'm doing now, to get lean until summer
>how long youve been lifting?
unironically 8 months but i have a bit of an advantage i guess. genetically im predisposed to strength, probably on the higher end of the 90th percentile. i played football for 4 years and my friends called me the missing link because id go on a 3 week vacation with senpai and come back being able to bench 10% stronger despite not doing shit.
im 30 now and the residual muscle growth from my youth took some revitalizing but my gains have been nothing short of hilariously ridiculous. i built my garage gym in may of 2018 and had the shakes putting up 135. 2-3 times a week 2 hour sessions with varying routines plus twice a week boxing got me to where im at. ama
It feels so fucking great whenever you get a PR regardless of how insignificant it might be to someone else.
Its like a damn drug i love it. It makes my whole day 1000% better this is why depressed ppl should push themselves to the gym. Or at least go out and run, running also gives you a feeling of success
Thanks frens.
Good work my dudes.
The only PR in this thread is your lack of PRogress!
you guys are making it
So you've always been a strong guy and good at sports. Well i've always been the 'biggest dude' amongst my peers but aldo the weakest, it really fucked up my self confidence but im 22 now and only now i woke up to the realization how shameful it is to be this tall but a weak piece of shit.
This is what i look like after going through my teenage years hating on sports because im bad at them.
What are you stats
No point in talking abou them theyre subpar anyway
haha yea dude i always thought dudes at my height or higher that didnt work on the strength were weird. its like putting life on easy mode after you put your work in. bitches love the height and if u can show off that you take care of yourself and add some curve to your biceps they fucking eat it up
its hard bro, but just do it. you will thank youself
I got 3 PRs today:
>squat 5x290
>bench 5x170
>row 5x150
I'm trying Carlos
I'll worry about progress and you worry about drug cartels. Good luck amigo
How long have you been lifting? I'm just comparing your stats to mine, I've been lifting for 5 months.
Frens posters should be shot
Do you think its a bad idea to focuse only on upper body for a few months or even a year.
I feel like my legs 'size' wise are actually not bad, genetics. But my upper body needs a lot of work. I've been doing benching, ohp, push ups, chinups and ab work because my core, especially my erectors are weak as fuck
5 weeks
Sorry if I'm shitting your thread up, but when you say you benched 110lb are you including bar weight? Otherwise you'd be past 1pl8.
no dont build bad habits. leg day is important, it feels good and it keeps you consistent.
desu i actually only do two full body days and 1 lighter accessory day of lifting every week. everyday is upper and lower. however you build your routine dont ignore legs...you need to grow proportionally or you'll look like a clown
also the gains you get from improved leg strength are pretty fucking sick. your legs start to look reall fucking good, and doing high as fuck box jumps is fun and impressive to thots
Bar weight yeah. Dont you guys include that too? Its weight after all
sorry for plebbit spacing dunno wtf im doing
Thanks bruh
I don't think we do. Anyways whatever. I started 5 months ago benching 25lbs on each side, and now am at 60lbs each side. You'll get there, good job keep it up. Eventually you'll look forward to the gym
yes, always include the bar weight in your total
>box jumping to impress thots
That's oddly specific to gym thots unless you walk around jumping on shit when women are looking.
CAAAARLOOOOOOS!!
also dont slack on your core training. it fucking sucks but core is essentially to basically every compound movement you do. work up to a 3minute plank and you'll see gains everywhere
beach, park, literally anyway. go outside bro vitamin d is good for you
I'm a grown man, at least 5 years past jumping on shit in public.
maybe you should do more squats
I think thats just a meme. It sounds stupid not to calculate the bar weight into your total, you lifted if after all.
So you progressed 70lbs in 5 months.
I progressed about ~44lbs i use kg btw so its a bit hard to work with pounds but i think we get each other.
Well i guess you've been benching once or twise a week.
I'm benching 3 times a week and doing pushups on rest days. I want to get rlly strong at the bench, because it was the weakest of all my lifts and all my buddies were repping 135.
This is what i did today. I dont do progressive overload the classic way because i dont enjoy it at all. Doing it like this i can always lift really close to my max. I usually raise the weight whenever i feel that i can. There was a week where i basically lifted the same weights but i tried getting in more reps.
I rest around 3 minutes for 3 rep weights and 5 minutes for 1 rep weights.
Always lifting close to my max, lifting a more and more weight for low reps my strenght shot up like crazy.
Btw i'm using kilo's in the note im not american
Cool, keep it up
>i use kg btw so its a bit hard to work with pounds but i think we get each other.
i have mixed lbs and kgs. easiest way to do it is double and add 10%
x kg * 2 + (x * 0.10 kg) = y lbs
Thanks mathematician fren
sorry its a little unclear. the 10% is derived from the pounds after doubling the kg so:
20kg = 20 * 2 = 40 lbs + (10% of 40lbs) 4 lbs = 44lbs
so 20kg pl8 = 45lb pl8
>OHP barely out of intermediate while bench is well into advanced
are you crippled or just a larping retard?
na i have a bum left shoulder
Just say kg * 2.2
People went to school, they know decimals. Hell, you're using decimals anyway.
10% is way more psychologically satisfying and imo easier to convert quickly tho. i know it's a matter of miliseconds but it just makes more sense to do the weird conversion for me i dunno
I get what you're saying, I do it too, but the 2.2=2(1+0.1) conversion is something you can trust people to be able to make themselves.
Gonna test my front squat in about 10 min, mid warmup now
i try to treat Jow Forumsizens as the lowest common denominators because statistically the majority of us are
kinda based and redpilled
>using all bumper plates on bar instead of just one or two to make room for regular weights
>not knowing regular plates are a cunthair smaller diameter so the bumper plates still take the impact
brainlet detected
im building an entire gym in my garage, i dont have infinite amount of money to spend on it, right now the most i can manage with my bumper plates (which are the majority of my plates) and my normal metal ones is 500lbs. fuck off
>500 lbs plates
Fuck off. Why would those even exist?
>omg
>its retarded
So I got my front squat to 160kg :)
Benched 65kg 3x5 + until failure. Last time I tried out my 1RM some time ago it was 70kg. Getting there, brah.
Missed a 330 bench, but got a 200lbs c&j tough
got 3pl8 deadlift for 5 reps today, previous best was 300x5
we're all gonna make it bruh
good vibes
