To be fair I take 10-15,000mg of Vitamin C and rarely get sick, but I also take other vitamins, eat healthy, sleep well, hydrate, exercise, etc.

I'm not saying stretching isn't essential, but you do know the bloat load stretches and can do the splits, right?

I mean if you're just doing the basic SS lifts and nothing else you'll get strong assuming other variables like diet/hydration/sleep are good, but you won't get very aesthetic unless you also do some hypertrophy accessories.

SS is to teach you how to hold proper form and acquire basic body strength. If you run SS all the way out to the professional level you end up fridgemode like the powerlifters of yesteryear. It's not for aesthetics.

Also, for the average person Vitamin C has been shown to have very limited effects. As long as you're getting 100% RDA, you probably won't see much benefit. The other stuff is WAY more important
