>mfw I waited 3weeks for that

I've applied to over 150 jobs what tf is wrong with me.

I have cets in Tableau, excel, SQL, Fluent in spanish, got Econ and International studies degree. Not a retard and decent looking

I apply for business analyst jobs, business intelligence, data analyst

On the plus side I'm getting fucking yoked from the stress and I have access to a gym through my dad's work.

squat for 5x 315
deadlift 275x8
bench (haven't maxxed recently due to elbow feeling sore)

umm ok haha

Can you repeat the question?

y cannot I get job.

idk guys maybe I should delete thread I just feel shit.

Went to the gym to get pumped up for the "news" and then just got shut down.

just wanted advice from /fitizens/ with jobs how you got it

Do you have any experience?

If not, there's your answer. if you do have experience, it's not enough.

i have had jobs, my most recent was a spanish interpreter for local hospitals but nobody gives a shit about that

Was in a similar position myself, put all my hopes on getting this one job and made it through like 90% of the process before they told me to fuck off just before the end.

It sucks, but that's life. My bad for not having a reserve in place. It obviously screwed me as I was way too late to get into any grad programs.

What I did was find companies operating in the same field, and pestered them about doing unpaid work experience for a few weeks. Most didn't reply, but a few got back to me.

I picked the best one and made it my one goal for those two weeks to be impressive af. I did everything they asked of me, and more. I came in everyday in pristine uniform, was polite etc. and got shit done.

The key thing is to rub shoulders with the right people. I used every ounce of charisma I had to get people on my side. At the end of it, they offered me a full-time position, being paid more than I was going to get through a grad program.

The point is, you've got to be proactive. Don't waste away your days, and don't use the gym as an excuse. Fitness can wait until you get your life together.

Good luck user.

Sure thing. Sucks you didn't make it. I suggest applying more. Give yourself three months of active looking to get a job at an absolutely minimum. Up to six depending on your location and industry. Don't be hard on yourself. Keep your expectations low. Find a current thing you can do that will make you more attractive to employers. I highly, highly recommend that you fish around with friends, relatives, relatives of friends, and friends of relatives. I've gotten all my best jobs through my social network.

Your standards are too high. You’re goinf to have to get a shit temp job or something like that. Look around for the easy apply jobs on LinkedIn. Maybe do an internship or something. You fucked yourself and didn’t get a job out of college. It’s ok i did the same thing. Remeber that people always want to hire someone who’s already working. Use the keyword filters too. Google how to do that shit. Make your LinkedIn nice.

I never understood why having a job isn't guaranteed. People without experience should be encouraged, not thrown out to be NEETs or homeless.
>9/11 flashbacks
Oh, that's right. The Federal Reserves are absolutely kiked.

at this point I'm ready to work at some warehouse or customer service idk anything to earn some money

You've got to be doing something man. Even if it is just to get some money in, it shows to a potential employer that you aren't just a NEET with a degree.

If you can explain that you couldn't get a job in the field you wanted, so you did what you had to in order to earn your way, whilst still looking for a job, an employer is much more likely to look favorably on you.

i applied for a lab tech job part time that I know someone in the company, doesn't pay much but it's something

Good. Apply for more shit jobs like that

>International studies degree
There's your problem, maybe you should have actually studied something instead of a meme degree?

Good start. The worst thing on a CV is an unexplained gap in employment.

Important thing is to not lose motivation. Even if you are earning min wage, you are doing better than all the losers who can't be bother to get a job. Keep pushing to better yourself, and don't let life get you down.

i have econ too you ditz but yeah okay I couldn't keep my GPA up bc of my CS classes tanked my gpa.

I had no choice but to get meme degree or lose funding.

I have no debt

thanks user I was feeling pretty down

I'm an IT recruiterfag

I can help you find work as long as you are not a literal mong. What state are you in?

Ohio

Don't do this. Its better to take the time and find the right job than just take anything that comes through the door. Once you're working you won't have the energy to keep looking for the job you want. Just keep applying to various places, dont be afraid to look in different states or countries.
Ignore this, if asked about unemployment tell them you are looking for the right job, that you don't want to be the average millenial and zoomer who quits after 1 year you want a place where you can grow and move up over the next decade.

Best advice in here was to use your social circle to find a job.

Well you have no job either so you’re a square one after four fucking years.

Go work at WPAFB broski. It's easy work and they employee literal retards.

>fashion company

it's your own fault for picking shitty low IQ non marketable majors you stupid fucking shit, get real lol

>travel the world

I mean right now I just lack experience but once I'm in I'm good.

I'd say an english degree would be shit unless I wanted to go to china and be a damn weeb

wrong part of state and also not a tard. Dayton is full of heroin and deadbeats

Yea dude but you’re not there yet. Life is only about what you have in your hand. The intangible is just a wish. Material matters. There are no guarantees you filthy bugman.

it pulls in 15 billion a year and it was their HQ so idk I made it to final round so I'm not completely useless

I got A's in my Network+ and A+ class and that's it can you get me a job

Those are MSc. jobs around these parts bucko. Also: they would take a Information Systems grad over any econ major for said functions

>that feel when masters is the new bachelors and bachelors is the new HS diploma

Exactly. Business is extremely saturated. MBA isn't worth unless you have a direct link to the business realm through family and go to a AAA school.
Security is the real field to be in coming up. Going for an associate for basically a Junior Netadmin position. 25,000 dollars is a lot of money to someone with zero bills and builds credit with a car loan.
Came out of HS certified with Comptia A+ and MSC cert.
Get work experience.
Then going to transfer to a out of state school for another 2 year that has juicy internships to get me into the job market.
Eventually I would like a MS or DR. in network infrastructure.

For Bi and Data analyst roles just knowing SQL and Tableau isnt enough you need to have real coding experience as well such as Python.

I dont want to be a dick but SQL, Tableau and Excel are nothing that stand out , also your degree does not stand out at all think of your competition and who will be applying to roles like BI and Data Analyst roles, its not business majors. Those roles are mostly given to more STEM orientated people with a knowledge in coding.

Guess i fucked my education up. What is the best job for me to apply for??

I feel like I wasted my time. At least I speak Spanish and Portuguese I mean idk what else to do

it hard as shit to get a job nowadays, this is why im wagecucking as a builder

>unemployment rate stapled to the floor
>thousands of jobs flat out cannot be filled
>it hard as shit to get a job
It sounds like maybe you're just a dumbass

where are you from

I hear this fucking meme all the time? where are these fucking jobs. people apply for hundreds of jobs and get nothing

OP here, I've applied to 107 jobs in the past two months

Because people wont move to a different area for a job anymore. The statistics show that people moving for work is at an all time low. You need to move to where the job market is good. Its not difficult to do unless you have literally 0 social circle or support. Certain states in the rustbelt are fucked with declining populations, whereas in the south things are growing massively. The crazy thing is its cheaper and easier than ever to travel and visit home. The entirety of American history has been to move somewhere to work and find your destiny but now people expect everything to be right on their doorstep, when thats not how the world works.
IMO the boomer advice about "go hit the bricks" is not awful advice. Putting your resume in online is shit show it can get tossed because its missing one key word. Better to try and call and go into places in person to try and seperate yourself from the pack. It keeps you doing things and busy and shows you have drive. Sitting at home for an hour completing 2 online forms a day for companies is shit job hunting

I should specify that's just my LinkedIn applications I just don't have numbers from company websites and indeed so lets double that. I've gotten interviews obviously

I had good experience with LinkedIn jobs actually that's how I got my current one. I had literally no skills lol good luck guys just fucking lie at this point and fake it.

That's how I got a few of my interviews so far. I also applied for a bunch of jp Morgan jobs on their website and also used my alumni job portal

>first year out of uni, got a promotion after 6mo
>making 87k /yr now

Should've picked a STEM subject my friend. I do process control for a huge manufacturing company. Excel is useless without knowing VBA, if you use formulas embedded in cells KYS.

Ok dipshit thank you that doesn't help me now does it.

user there's nothing you can do but keep putting yourself out there and keep handing in your resume for interviews

Also set your standards a bit lower

Look into supply chain planning, or something else in that realm. Realize that you have a degree that's quite common. Or go and do an actuarial exam and see if you can cut it there. Like fuck.

My gf is an actuary so that was something I had considered
