Why do powerlifting squat so pathetically? Stop being a pussy and put the bar higher up on your back.

Powerlifting to weightlifting is exactly what calisthenics is to gymnastics. Its pathetic.

I'm gay btw not sure if that matters

>doing everything you can do to lift the most weight
vs
>an assistance exercise used for general strength purposes.

I could say the same about weightlifting
Stop jerking the bar and strict press is like a man, jerking is for incel fags.

>Powerlifting to weightlifting is exactly what calisthenics is to gymnastics
Well said

POWERLIFTING IS FUCKING PATHETIC

You use this image as if it demonstrates your point but he's literally hitting powerlifting depth.

ROFL he is way deeper

It's based on preferance. Why do you care?

He absolutely is not. His hip crease is just below his knee, it's very clearly depth but it is not deep at all.

this
Tho, I may add, that powerlifting isn't even a sport.
They lack any kind of flexibility, endurance, conditioning, etc
It's basically glorified egolifting
At least the bodybuilders look good

at age 50 his knees are done as well

this is so retarded

>muh much weight poor exercised much fast wow that speed

>Powerlifting to weightlifting is exactly what calisthenics is to gymnastics.
Accessible, less dangerous, easier to learn, less taxing and more fitting for someone who hasn't trained the sport since age 6?

Powerlets

Post body
Post squat

>comparing multiply, lolfed, mile high, drugaroo shit judging squats that 90% of powerlifters hate to anything

So long as you're hitting parallel it's fine, though you could argue for complete ROM > more weight depending on goals.

Bar placement however is more dependent on what feels better. I do low bar over high bar almost entirely for the feel, the balance feels better and the movement feels more fluid to me.

>lifting with two legs so your back is the limiting factor instead of lifting the maximum possible with one leg

>That Klokov squat.

Fucking makes me cry every time.
What a beautiful man.

the thing is that weightlifters out squat powerlifters
you can't press more than you jerk tho

Because the powerlifting style squat is more efficient for more body types, which allows a higher score within the parameters of that competition.

Based. Take the split squat pill.

>They lack any kind of flexibility, endurance, conditioning, etc
>implying you need that to be an athlete within a given sport
Being good at a given sport is not the same as being healthy or even generally athletic.
>the thing is that weightlifters out squat powerlifters
I'm not sure if this is true as a general statement, but this occurs because weightlifters have ideal body morphology and proportions for squatting type movements.

Most weightlifters that outsquat powerlifters are government funded professionals and may or may not get government provided doping. Most powerlifters that are outsquatted by weightlifters are hobbyists with full time jobs and families that lift 3-5 times per week and compete 1-3 times per year.

Powerlifting squat is more efficient for most people with non-short femur lengths.

High bar or front squat is more impressive and requires more flexibility.

Do both.

are record holders hobbyists?
instagram.com/p/BsTqI9nngcJ/
and ipf is just as doped as iwf

Yes they are all hobbyists because they don't get paid to compete. They pay to compete. Also you must have missed the "government provided" doping

Imagine the smell

Notice how this is always chinks and usually in the least competitive weight classes. There are no weightlifters that squat anywhere near what Ray Williams does for example. The best I have seen is Mart Seim squatting 400kg so high that he would get 4 or 5 reds.

Oh, also looking at the video, the girl is squatting very obviously much too high, don't even need a side angle.

high bar squat is easier to do though

>so high that he would get 4 or 5 reds.
but it's depth and better than most powerlifters

>powerlifting
>the training exercise is the sport.
Top fucking kek, imagine if there was a off shoot from soccer who adopted jumping jacks and alternating cones as a sport. Or if mma practitioners make shadowboxing a sport

why don't powerlifters lift high bar then?
