i did yoga for a year as my work offered a course. was nice, girls were pretty and you felt good afterwards. did not improve my flexibility one bit. but i do not regret it one bit.

Hardness of workouts depends 100% on what you're doing. From 15 minutes breathing, meditating and light stretches to 2 hours hardcore bodyweight exercises, Yoga can be anything.
Just started yesterday, I feel fucking excellent. Hit a new PRs on squat volume and farmer carries. Usually my hips and shoulders are torched after lifting, I only feel moderately like an old man today. Gonna keep this up.

I've not been able to lift or do yoga so consistently that I could tell you this.
Positive effects from Yoga I've noticed were drastically reduced stress levels and better posture. In the beginning, sitting cross legged with a straight back didn't feel exhausting, but actually gave me DOMS in my back muscles.
Wouldn't it be better to do it the day of a work out so that you'll relieve muscle soreness later?
Also, how expensive is it typically?

I've only ever gone to free classes offered at a university I attended and followed YouTube Yoga videos at home for a total cost of 0 dollars.
I'm doing a full body program, so I lift only 3 days a week and do Yoga and Cardio on the other days.
If you're not radiating 'thirsty weirdo' it's fine, awesome even.

No. I feel you, but a big part of yoga is slowing down and concentrating on your breathing and posture. You can still listen to music since she doesn't have background music, or you could even turn the sound completely off. Once she gets going it moves faster, a lot of them you can skip the first 15min if you are in a rush.
