I disagree. The main point of the upper body days are to increase bench press weight. Bench press volume + dips and chin-ups help accomplish that.

My only question is for someone with proportionally weaker triceps, would it make sense to replace the second type of pressing I'm doing, or would the additional 3 sets of close grip bench hurt my recover for bench press.

I'm not sure how to address my leg imbalances but for CERTAIN:

Their logic is that most programs designed for the average lifter, are sub-optimal for almost every individual. If they aren't sub-optimal at first, then they will become sub-optimal over time. SS or LP for 3-6 months to develop no must go lie well enough to put enough weight on the bar to actually get bigger.

FB or U/L split with weekly/monthly progression and more accessory and variation work to maximize growth.

Block, DUP, HLM, Concurrent/Conjugate with monthly/quarterly progression until you get bored and quit.

Yes. Some outliers who have exceptional averages might have a deadlift slightly lower than their squat. You might see the same from a super heavyweight who is nearing their potential.

You might also see the same from a beginner, because beginners are retarded if they have never done sports and have no kinesthetic awareness.
