Then cardio for the last 2-3 months, cardio gains are quick to come quick to go. Lean muscle mass, such as thicker tendons and ligaments last a lot longer.

If you need to run long distances for long periods of time then you are doing it wrong.
Cardio, survival training, marksmanship, medicine, farming, and buying ammo for the arsenal I already have. Also maybe some diesel mechanic knowledge so I can maintain a basic military truck (CUCV or similar).
I'd sell my current house and get a self sustaining 2 acre farm with a water source and solar panels innawoods. I'd spend the next year practicing all of the above full time. 1 week out from apocalypse I'd lay landminds around the farm and hunker down.

Inser lots of cardio itt. Don't train for that, be able to do some sprints but endurance should be the goal. You should be able to hike for a long time, weighttraining does that. I can hike and go uo and down mountains all day long and I never train cardio.
What you do want to train is your liver, get in and out of keto as often as you cab.
