I am a DYEL who has trouble moving furniture or hauling lumber. I cannot do a pullup. I lack the mobility to do a proper squat. My back groans when walking a day with a 40 lb backpack. I get floored easily during Judo sparring and my neck can't resist the blows I receive during boxing sparring, while my punches have no impact.

I want to fix all of the above. The way to do this is by eating a lot and lifting heavy things and putting them back down, repeatedly.

I made a living moving furniture for a living. The best way of getting good at that is squats, deadlifts, presses and power cleans. Basically i did SS and i helped tremendously in moving furniture while the people i worked with that did not strength train did not get noticeable better at it and it was always a pain the ass for their weak poor backs.
