Starting my summer cut now - what are some cheap meals that are low calorie and full of protein? I would usually eat garbonzo beans but I can't make them edible without tons of olive oil which is too calorie dense. Bread dipped in vinegar is another snack, but I imagine youd want to avoid bread on a cut?

Sardines will give you calcium toxicity because of the bones if you eat too many, mackerel is a good all rounder, if you get it canned in EV olive oil, good amount of protein, fatty acids, good fats (from the oil) and not too much mercury. Not as much protein as the others perhaps but still not bad, and a lot less disgusting than sardines.
