>be me >25 >330 pounds >decide i want to see my penis again >limit to 2,000 calories a day with one hour cardio a day >currently at 270 >can see penis again >feelsgoodman >best friend >extreme sjw, "accept everyone even fatties" >says fat people are "naturally" fat >what he means is that our bodies want us to be fat so they release hormones to make us eat >tell him i have no clue how hormones work or if certain people are naturally bigger etc etc >still tell him there's no way it's healthy to be 330 pounds >tells me my body wants/needs to be at 330 >im like bro i'll die in my 40's if i keep this up >he says most people that lose weight gain it back anyway >im entertaining him at this point >tells me some people are just naturally bigger and keeps hinting that i shouldn't be losing weight and just be happy with the body i have >call him a hypocrite because he went from 230 to 185 >he says that's different because he was overeating because of bad habits, not hormones
i've known this nigger since I was 4 years old. over goddamn 20 years. i've never wanted to slap him harder.
give me some fuel to fight back. is the hormone thing true? am i destined to be a fat fuck forever? what the fuck?? that talk was really discouraging.
No, he's damn wrong about it There's a couple lectures by Dr Jason Fung and Dr Benjamin Bikman on the matter on youtube, or even more chewed out versions on "what I've learned" channel Watch a couple of them and show it to him
Jaxson Butler
The hormone thing is true, but "bad habits" and hormones form a feedback loop.
Your body acts different if you feed it garbage constantly, and your hormones change to get you to eat more garbage.
Hormones do make you want to eat that way, but it's not how you started life.
Chase Myers
No, that is complete and utter bullshit and such a notion shouldn't even be entertained. Ignore that phaggot
Jeremiah Taylor
the ones im finding are about ketosis so basically hormones make you overeat but you trigger the hormones by overeating in the first place? that's what i feel in my heart but he's generally a pretty well informed dude. I think he took "don't bully fat people" and turned it into "it's okay to be fat" - which it's not
You SHOULD bully fat people and it's NEVER okay to be fat.
John Rodriguez
bullying only discourages fatties. they eat to deal with their feelings so when you bully them they run right towards the fridge
yeah, im sure there is 1/100 people that turned their life around because they were bullied but that's uncommon.
Gabriel Brooks
>>says fat people are "naturally" fat What does that mean? It don't mean anything. Fat people are fat because of their caloric intake.
>>what he means is that our bodies want us to be fat so they release hormones to make us eat >>>tells me my body wants/needs to be at 330 When a person gets to a weight and stays at that weight for a period of time then that weight becomes the new normal and the body wants to get back to that weight. If you lose weight then yes for a period of time your body wants to get back to your previous weight until you set a new standard weight. You set the new set point by maintaining it for longer periods. Before that new set point is made there is probably gonna be hunger and cravings.
That does not mean that weight is healthy or you should be at that weight. No 330 is not healthy.
>he says most people that lose weight gain it back anyway That is unfortunately true. Unless you change your lifestyle, habits, and even identify that is a common thing that happens.
> am i destined to be a fat fuck forever? Not at all.
>that's what i feel in my heart but he's generally a pretty well informed dude. I think he took "don't bully fat people" and turned it into "it's okay to be fat" - which it's not The dude is probably part threatened by your weight loss success and what he told you has a slight discouraging vibe to it because part of him wants to sabotage you. But maybe not, what he said is kind of true, that dosn't mean you wont' be able to lose weight or that you are destined to be a fatty forever.
Noah Allen
Ask him for a source >"Your body WANTS to be fat!" >"Source?" >"...Huh?" He wouldn't be able to give you a valid source, and he'd shut up
Jaxon Jenkins
Lmao he’s trying to keep you fat man. Look I don’t get it, it’s shit I’d never do but people don’t want to see you do better than them.
Asher Jenkins
Call him a cunt to his face the next time he says that shit.
Gavin Green

thank you. this definitely clears up fears i have about my body wanting to naturally be at 330
>The dude is probably part threatened by your weight loss success and what he told you has a slight discouraging vibe to it because part of him wants to sabotage you
i think he just doesnt believe i have it in me to lose the weight so if/when i do fail he can soften the blow by saying "see, science says you're suppose to be fat"
he's mentioned reading about hormones online i don't think so. but he is being somewhat discouraging. might do this.
thanks for the replies friendos
Asher Young
Your friend is an idiot and/or an asshole and doesn't like seeing you better yourself. Ignore this person's and keep up the good work you large-dicked mother fucker
Anthony Peterson
>extreme sjw Why even bother being friends with this person? There's no point arguing with them, just cut them out of your life and move on.
James Hill
Your friend is a retard and definitely dyel. His opinion is worthless.
Anthony Johnson
>the ones im finding are about ketosis user did you even tried putting hormones in search box Just look at this: youtube.com/watch?v=zcMBm-UVdII
Tyler Gomez
why do you even bother arguing with him? if he's an extreme sjw it's fucking obvious he won't listen to anything you say
Luis Bailey
Your friend is a idiot.
Ryder Martin
Unironically this.
Miserable fucks (which if this guy is a SJW he almost certainly is) hate it when people around them better themselves. When the people in their lives engage in individual self-improvement it goes against their collectivist worldview and it drags their own personal failings into the harsh light of the sun. If you improve then he invariably looks at himself and sees all the shit that he can work on, cognitive dissonance sets in, and then he has to deal with a crisis of identity, because his SJW worldview says that no self-improvement is necessary; not only that, it's evil to want to better yourself, because it's a microaggression against fatties/disabled people/stronk wymyn of color for a FUCKING WHITE MALE to better himself (assuming you're white, if not it still applies.)
Brody Stewart
>If you improve then he invariably looks at himself and sees all the shit that he can work on, cognitive dissonance sets in, and then he has to deal with a crisis of identity This has to be some real shit. but instead of improving them self they try to sabotage you.
Also when you meet someone and you don't kick it with them and they think you are lame as fuck, but then they see you hit it off with someone else cooler and you are actually cool as fuck. They get salty as fuck
Liam Kelly
Yep.
I had to cut a childhood friend out of my life several years ago because he went full retard with the SJW nonsense and started doing cocaine with convicted felons. He tried to drag me into it and got pissed when I wouldn't debauch myself. Last I heard he was arrested for assaulting some dude.
