It seems like his idea is to get 110% EQ by inducing local angiogenesis so that the tissues get stretched during an erection (the more erections the better to cause growth), I think it can work but you need to very healthy (high T, high dopamine) and be consistent
Legit went from 5.5 to 6.5 in that year. As for routine, I would start off warming up by doing a kegel routine first.
Then I would just do alternating hands with the jelq for a set amount of time, which I gradually (gradually being key) increased over time. I started with 5 minutes and eventually ended up at 1 hour by the end of the year which is honestly a little ludicrous due to how much time it took and by that point I was starting to get slight pain so I stopped for a while. Pain went away and I can still do lower duration (~30 minute sessions without much issue).
The jelq itself needs to be carefully done, generally you want to be only 50-75% hard as being fully hard is asking for trouble. You want to put enough pressure to feel a squeeze but not too much, and you need to start at the very base where your fingers are hitting the pelvic bone as otherwise you'll get baseball bat dick which I had a little of early on but managed to fix towards the end but correcting my form. The motion itself should take about 2-3 seconds from base to below the tip (absolutely never jelq the glans). Lubricant is a given, a cheap lotion like that cocoa butter stuff works well.
If at any point it hurts, stop. Take time off, revisit it with gentler grip or just never do it at all. The risk assessment is purely on you, and there can be some risk if done incorrectly, but it does as a matter of fact work and anyone saying it doesn't is wrong.
I should also mention that I personally experienced a slight but noticeable decrease in shaft sensitivity by the end. It most likely isn't due to nerve damage but simply due to your nerve endings being spread out more when you gain length/girth as I'm fairly sure you can't grow new nerve endings.
