How much weight is one "pl8"?

How much weight is one "pl8"?
Is it even definite?
Why can't you guys use regular units of measurement?

It's one plate you newfag, AKA 45 pounds, one on each side of the bar, meaning that it's 90 pounds without the bar or 135 pounds with the bar. Each time you add on a "pl8" you add 90 pounds.

Therefore 2pl8 means 2 standard 45 pound plates on each side of a standard barbell.

1pl8 is 1 45lb plate on each side of a 45lb bar.
2pl8 is 2 45lb plates on each side of a 45lb bar.
It's really simple, I don't get this meme.

When one refers to a "pl8" it means the weight of a 45 lb Olympic bar with one 45 lb plate on each side, totalling 135 lbs. 2pl8 is 2 plates on each side, or 225 lb., Etc.

you just load it with as many plates as you can
the other day I BP 8 pl8 of 2.5kg each
not heavy but the number of plates is impressive

>Ever counting the bar
>Using a bar in the first place
Once you do enough drugs that you can use 100% if you're brain you don't need the bar, you hold the pl8s in place with mentally emitted electromagnetic wave concentrations, this is why nattys will never make it. If you want to blast through those PRs you have to eventually remove the bar so you can lift the same number of pl8s with less physical weight.

This but unironically

If you use a bar you're DYEL

tf is this picture?

loud kek

Still nonsense values.
In proper units
1pl8 = 61.2kg
2pl8 = 102.1kg
3pl8 = 142.9kg
4pl8 = 183.7kg

pl8 stands for 8 polish people

the most retarded shit ever
i bet americans invented couting in plates because they are so stupid they cant even use their own weight system numbers
just fucking say the actual weight you autists
its not like you are doing 60kg (1pl8) and then you magically go to 100kg (2pl8)
so if you are at 70kg for example, what do you say huh?
fucking autistic shits

one pl8 is 45 pounds but sometimes people use pl8 to represent how many plates are on either side, so 4 pl8 is actually 8 plates in total.

If we are lifting 70kg (~155lbs) then we say "I'm lifting 155 lbs"

fuck outta here with your retarded yankee units

>this is what Jow Forums is now
>DYEL GDE thincels pretending to be retarded for so long that it becomes their default behavior

15/12ths pl8 duh

You'd understand this if you actually lifted you disgusting Euro. For anyone who actually lifts this system makes sense.

No it doesn't you retarded American.

90lbs
Fucking idiots

pl8s is an easier shorthand

>counting the bar
>counting the first pl8
>counting the matching pl8s
>counting the hole in the pl8s
>counting anything less than 45lbs
>not counting the heart of the pl8s
This is how you actually calculate how much you can lift:
>count the number of 45lb/20kg pl8s on each side
>subtract 1 pl8. this is free weight
>multiple that by 45lb/20kg
>subtract 10% (the hole the bar goes into)
>add 3.75% (the heart of the pl8s)
>ignore the bar completely. this is also free weight
So if you have 4 pl8s on each side, you actually lift 126.05625lbs. Even if you have 25s on each side, you still only lift that much.

Saying you lift anything more is e-statting

The Virgin Confusing Decimals vs The Chad LB Round Numbers

>He uses 45lb plates

Never gonna make it

Attached: s-l300.jpg (225x300, 14K)

hows 1 decimal place confusing u fuckin gronk

lmao1pl8!!= 1 kg plate on each side with a 20 kg bar. so it goes
>1pl8=60 kg
>2pl8=100
>3pl8=140
and so on

Then you say 70kg, you retarded fuck. The LMAOpl8!!1 system is to make arbitrary milestones. It makes perfect sense and not only fucking Americans use it, you prick
