Will lifting make me happy? Did it make you happy?

Will lifting make me happy? Did it make you happy?

I hate myself more than ever.

I've been lifting on and off for 3 years and want to KMS every day

Lifting will not make you happy, though it can be one tool in a toolbox of things that can help you be happy, though personally I'm not even sure what that really means anymore.

It will however, stave off bad moods and depressive tendencies, so it's got some worth in that respect. Thots definitely will not make you happy though.

It made me happy. Not because of the sloots, but because of the friends I made via lifting (srs). Added bonus that you’re a shredded sick kunt and more confidence from being physically able.

It's rewarding to achieve the goals you set, and the sense of discipline you develop definitely helps you in other areas of your life, but you've got to find the joy in it yourself.

1 is a chestlet

It will force you to structure your life a little better with regards to sleeping more, eating better etc if you want gains. Also you should get a dopemine release as you work out. I'd recommend walking or doing cardio as well for full benefits. But no it won't make you happy just happier then whatever you are right now.

Been lifting for six years, the only thing that ever made me happy is devoting myself entirely to radical self interest. Lifting is of course a small part of this among other earned pleasures from relationships and my career. Also easier, unearned pleasure from books, sex, shitposting, watching a few shows, drugs, and music.

First sensible post I’ve seen from you. You gained a little more runway before I filter you

Lift because you love yourself and want to be better, not because you hate yourself. If you don’t love yourself no one will love you, and you will never be happy

Depends on why you're lifting.
Lifting to make yourself happy? Then yeah you'll might be happy. Lifting to make someone else happy? No, you're probably not going to be happy.

FUCK OFF DISCORD TRANNY

>Tfw no gf after years of lifting
If I had one things would be completely different. Fuck anyone who says the whole “a gf won’t make you happy”

those feet. How do I tell my gf I want to suck on her toes? Will she think I'm weird?

knowing that I lift for myself makes me happy. The picture that you posted there shouldn’t even cross your mind when you think about exercising. It’s not about women. That’s a byproduct. It’s about discipline, and leaving the gym knowing you’re doing something great for your body and mind.

you just gotta do it
dive in

Lifting is one of the keystone of respecting yourself

1) Have the healthiest, most muscular, and most athletic body you possibly can

2) Be financially free through owning your own business or having multiple sources of income.

3) Devoting yourself to helping people around you succeed

4) Enjoying the world around you and admiring the beauty of the planet and human creation. This means traveling, camping, and just going outside in general.

5) Accepting Jesus into your life and understanding that a life of degeneracy isn't fulfilling and that the reason liberals are so unhappy is that they live solely for hedonism and have no higher purpose

>do something great for your body and mind
>die alone and a virgin

Since we're rating.

This giveth hope.

I'd be lying if I said I don't want to get ripped for girls.

It will make you happy at first. Especially if you've never been with a woman before. But eventually it becomes stale like everything else in life.

I've been lifting non-stop for 7 years straight and have similiar thoughts

I doubt that. Another human, who can you spoon with and feel each others warmth doesn't get old, you probably just get with FAT/UGLY girls

Im pretty happy with myself, people compliment me every now and then and everybody looks at me like “the healthy guy” I am doomed to be forever small to myself but it is a nice trade off as it also has made me less anxious about people

9/10 would recommend

I quit vidya and picked up lifting, life has gotten demonstrably better. I'm not happy, but I feel that my life is improving (I was in a deep pile of shit when I decided to stop being a victim and get a handle on my life). Your mileage may vary.

You're putting women up on a pedestal now. Your happiness isn't gonna come from another person. Some years down the line, you'll start feeling like shit again, regardless of your girlfriend being fat/ugly or not. I was a virgin until my mid twenties, and I always thought having a girlfriend would finally solve all my problems. And granted, it was great for a while. But then comes all the normal shit. You start getting a bit on each others nerves. The shit that didn't annoy you in the beginning about her, is starting to piss you off now and eventually you'll start fighting. It happens to 99% of all couples. You're not gonna be the exception mate.

No and No.

yes. Improving yourself always makes you happy. men need to accomplish things to find happiness. reaching goals helps that.

Did lifting make me happy? No
Does lifting make me happy? Yes

Is this the ultimate pill?

Nothing can make me happy because of chronic depression, but at least I can stop being such a pathetic piece of shit. Therefore I lift.

I'm so fucking angry. It's an outlet for that

LMAO THE ONE ON THE RIGHT GOES TO MY SCHOOL

Never met her but I know a lot of her sorority sisters and my fraternity almost paired with them for HC last year. All the ones I know don't exactly speak of her fondly

Agreed. I know this chick (haven't seen her in ages though) and see her posted quite frequently. Was unnerving the first time I saw it.

lifting can make you happier, but what made me happy is when an user on Jow Forums told me
>a bloo bloo bloo my normalfag problems are real
and then I realized, your problems don't matter if you don't care and you can be happy if you want to

>semenholes
How many black cock has she had?

>goes to one of the biggest schools in the country in the third most populous state
>surprised that other people do too

this board is actual cancer.

I mean this girl? Probably a lot.
Greek life at FSU is overwhelmingly white though. I know in my fraternity of 150+, there are two black guys and my PC had an indian kid too. 9.5 times out of ten girls here will go for a white guy because, well, that's what we have.

Nah I've seen her on pol a couple times too. Again its just weird to see people I know. There are a lot of fsu girls on the b threads too.
