cant afford a decent gym atm. when i get money i wanna get into either MMA or boxing

i wouldn't worry avout it. At the place I train BJJ/muay thai theres a chick with one leg that destroys everyone she rolls against. If she can do it you have no excuses

How important do you feel pinkies are for grappling? My guess is it's a critical pressure point. Of course it's possible to be good or even great even with physical disadvantages but it feels like shit when you know you're at an obvious disadvantage. I have enough having to pull with straps when pulling over 3pl8
because I own guns, and aesthetics is the most important.

Its better to have them than not, but I find I use (and mess up) my middle and ring fingers the most. I do judo though, I suspect with gi-less grappling styles you'll only need basic hand use like clasping or grabbing around an elbow.
Actually joined a kickboxing gym yesterday, though they instruct other types of striking such as muay Thai and boxing. The cardio and abs work is no joke, or maybe I'm just out of shape

Martial arts are a great workout if you arent on some neckbeard martial art. Also way more fun than most workoutsSo am I just train harder
I am so unused to human company that I have difficulty working up the energy to interact with them. I would like to do boxing and if I need a grappling thing then wrestling (not bjj because learning all those intricate steps seems retarded to me).
I think I just need to get into a different headspace about it than lifting which is much easier bc you can do it by yourself. Does anyone have experience with this problem and any steps one can work their way toward social normalcy with?

MMA broke this cycle for me. I found a good gym with nice people and it helped me get out of my shell and stop being a fatass. The more I go and train the less I become an antisocial fuck. Not being full of hate helps a lot too

Also, no amount of muay thai or whatever bitch-nigga martial arts class you do can help you on a 2+-on-1 situation if they really want to fuck you up.

MMA, boxing, and muay thai are all good. MMA is going to cost more. If you looking for a boxing gym, avoid cardio boxing gyms (ones that promote "fitness"). Most MT gyms are pretty traditional, at least in the states they are, so you can't really go wrong with them. Just make sure they train people who compete/trainers have competed.
