You need to build some powerful abdominals, and hip abductors, than once you’re up to a decent weight and have been working on your abs for a while, cut down to sub10% bodyfat. That’s how you get the hip V

brace hard as fuck on squats and deads

It's their by nature. Making it look well defined is a mixture of abdominal/core workouts, low body fat, and a tan/good lighting.

it really is genetics, I even have em at 20-25% bf

genetics. i have them even though my abs aren't visible

Kinda is genetics. I can see its there and I'm 20% bf right now. Winter bulk is just finishing though.

>genetics
shut up retards
you get them to pop like that by having strong as fuck hip abductors pressing against your strong as fuck abdominis rectis

you know all those useless meme exercises like crunches and lateral raises, that are supposed to train "abs" but you later realized don't do shit? that trains your hip abductors like crazy. so if you do that, combined with heavy weight barbell training to ACTUALLY produce hypertrophy in your abs, you get the V pointing down at your cock

low BF% is how you get abs, but strength training is how you get the V

same. I had them before I even started lifting too.

>sub10% bodyfat.
I have them when I go as high as 16%. Bench 180lbs, squat 225lbs, dead 295lbs.
it's genetics

>combined with heavy weight barbell training to ACTUALLY produce hypertrophy in your abs
What fucking exercise with a barbel that targets abs directly are you talking about?

No, its genetics. Not everyone has the same pelvic structure and muscle insertions. Not all pro body builders ever get the belt fully visible, some people have it visible at 20% body fat and barely lift.
Its genetics, just like killer pecs. Just like thick wrists. Just like everything else you're about to cope post about.

ohp, bench and squat?
your abs primary function is not to bend your hip joints, it's to isometrically contract and balance you. lifting heavy stuff requires high intra-abdominal pressure, balancing hundreds of pounds above your head causes considerably more muscular damage to your abs than swinging your hips around like a retard
>muh genetics
>calls ME the copeposter
lmao

>thinking throwing big words at an argument that’s most likely true will somehow change facts

user, look I-

3rd year into kinesiology, suck my cock

>>thinking throwing big words at an argument that’s most likely true will somehow change facts
>user, look I-

>ohp, bench and squat?
a situp has double the abdominal activation a squat has

eh low-ish body fat
not hard at all
I get them even when im fatty

read the sentence directly below that one, you dyel retard

Same. I guess its genetics? I thought all guys had this.

howtogetvlines dot wordpress dot com

>bench works more ab muscles than sit ups
But that’s wrong

Sumo or conventional DL’s, hanging leg raises, front squats, hang cleans, low BFP

what would be the move to find those barbell exercises to actually achieve hypertrophy in my abs? Will just googling barbell ab exercises get me the right results?

You must be benching wrong.

if that's the case, how come people put on squat belts when they go for world record benches?
almost like abdominal pressure is a key factor in benching once you hit 2pl8?
almost like you're dyel and don't know shit?

no, just do the standard 4 barbel exercises. isolations are a meme

Dude I can't stand listening to your jargon anymore. The fact that you talk a lot of shit that you can not back makes me believe that you do a lot of reading and not a lot of lifting. How Can you give advice to people without truly understanding what you are saying? The answer is you can't ..... You can not tell someone something without knowing if it works or not. You have no experience lifting. You hardly know anything. Everything you do know you read in a book or stole from someone else. You have no factual eveidence that it works. You just take advice from credible sources and post them as your own....As an aspiring personal trainer, who has actually spent time working in a gym, watching and criticizing and experimenting. Stop posting. You don't know what youre talking about. You know it too.

haven't seen that one since 2015, but it still hasn't been long enough for me to fall for it, sorry breh

brace what

hanging windshield wipers

can confirm its is largely genetics, when i was a 27% bf fatass with a belly hanging out i literally still had them, not im cutting and im down to 20% bf they are looking more defined even though the rest of my body is chubby

Cut down to 12%

it's mostly genetics. I have a lot of surfer friends and some of them are literally high BF, have semi-guts and still have these (it looks sort of funny, buy they have it)

do russian twists help ?
is it a good exercise ?

>Bench 180lbs, squat 225lbs, dead 295lbs.

I got the V doing weighted russian twists, yes. It's a good exercise if you do it with proper form.

It is partially genetics, but some time ago I started training my obliques a lot and they just exploded, even at a relatively high bf (12-15%) I had that nice extremely defined line. Then I stopped lifting for a couple years (injured myself) and I lost it all, working on getting them back

>all these subhuman newfags who donts know what Adonis Belt is

disgusting

genetics (muscle inserts) + building those ab area muscles + lowering body fat + pulling your shorts down a little

Every human has them at a low enough bodyfat level, however some people have it genetically way more pronounced (think the people that have them while fat)

A girl pointed at mine and called them sex lines. And by girl, I mean another guy at the gym.

This is pretty reassuring bro. Thanks.

Same

lol, definitely one of the funniest seasons

>Is it really just “muh genetics”
I guess it is, I had them at 24% bf while never lifting in my life.
Now at 15%bf they look around the same but now I have abs.

I have visible veins in my lower abs and don't have a goddamn hint of these showing up. If they're genetic, I lost. If they're based on an exercise, I'm not sure what I've been forgetting to do, but I am curious.
