However making gym buddies is always viable as we are all there with the common goal of bettering ourselves.

Unless you take a degree that relates to the medical field, good luck getting a job imo. So many people I graduated HS with finished their BSc or BA and aren't even working in their field or work at a place where they don't even need a degree. All of my friends who took a 2 year program in college are all working in their field and have full time work right out of school

This wasn't necessarily true in my case. I know two grads from UPenn, one went into international banking and the other works at the NYTimes. In certain fields you basically need an Ivy degree to even get your foot in the door.

mill avenue after 10 pm is pretty fun on a friday or saturday night when I went there and you'll have to be proactive about making social connections. If you are an athelete, a girl, or in a fraternity, it'll be much easier to do so.

I went to Purdue for engineering for 1 year and transferred to IU for finance, so I feel pretty qualified to talk about the gym culture and guy/girl competition.

Overall Purdue has a fucking amazing gym way better than IU it's sad. However since Purdue attracts a lot of stem kids like 1/3 of the school is Chinese and the Chinese girls look like fucking monkeys pretty sure it's like 60:40 guy to girl and most of the girls are ugly anyway. As for competition against other guys it's kinda weird, on one hand there are a lot of stem kids that probably browse R9K but there is a subset of engineering students that are giga Chad's (in a frat, good grades in Purdue engineering, athletic, good looking and charismatic) and basically these guys fuck every single fuckable girl on campus
As for IU there are so many hot girls here its fucking insane, so much fertility I have many urges walking around campus. The classes here are a joke (especially when compared to Purdue engineering) everyone says how hard kelley is to get into but so far it's been cake (turning in multiple projects 9 days early)

overall they have their pros and cons but my family has connections so that my business degree wont be completely useless when I get out of school

FSU/Tallahasee has pretty fun nightlife lol. I made a lot of gym bro friends here and we usually go out every weekend. Lots of hot girls too. And academics are decent. Football team kinda sucks, but it is what it is.

i was also out of state too from Alabama but got a scholarship to FSU, so I went there.

regarding your transfer thing, do you have a scholarship to ASU and is your school cheaper? Which one has a better programs for your major? Would you find yourself enjoying one over the another? I would probably do some research and maybe visit both campuses.
