The only way meal prepping is justified is when you're poor and have extremely tight schedule on weekdays.
I'd rather portion my ingredients and freeze them in a ziplock to make the cooking easier, but why the heck would I want to eat old food?

>Unironically thinking it’s a good idea to cook chicken and store it for a week in the frige.

Aside from being disgusting and nasty is there any more overrated meat than chicken? I can’t stand chicken.

This cat trina start shit I fucking swear m8.

>not eating one meal a day
>not eating raw beef as the core of your meal
why do you hate life so much?

I'm a poorfag though.

He knows the blin is his, but also invites you to have one. If you refuse, he may cancel the meal altogether.

wtf kind of trick is this supposed to be? Boiling pasta water doesn't stay boiling in the freezer

>Overrated
Dumbass, people eat chicken because it's cheap not because they think it's goat tier.

I believe they call it a "joke".

this is pretty much true. Also the shit takes time to reheat.

If you have to pack lunches for work or school I get it.

Chicken is pretty dope though. Just had some baked chicken breast for dinner. Seasoned with garlic and paprika with a bit of thai chili sauce drizzled over and steamed grean beans with some lemon juice. No carbs cause cutting except for a couple chips with salsa.

>if you make food with old, frozen ingredients it’s fresh.
Cock off with that shit.

If money isn't a problem then just hire a cook. I batch cook because cooking is tedious.

You can do a lot with chicken, ground turkey is pretty good too.

I'd like to make some chili sometime next week and some user said something about ground turkey. If I make it okay with beef i'll def have to give the turkey a try cuz poultry>red meat health wise

>only work 6 hours a week
>no need to meal prep
>plenty of time to cook during the day before i go

lol wagecucks

Oh look another 20something self employed millionaire on fit.

>he doesn't have enough money for a personal chef
>doing female activities when you could be spending your time on better things

>and some user said something about ground turkey.

>meal prepping
>not just having Jeeves cook you breakfast lunch and dinner, and drive out to deliver it if you aren’t at home

meh, I don't work so what I do is....
>breakfast: toby carvy's all you can eat (load up on eggs / toast / plum tomtatoes) ....
>meal 2: morrisons cooked chicken breast and grab medium container of pasta....
>same for meal 3
>meal 4: 2 scoops of whey with milk and berries
>meal 5: mince beef and rice

>He doesn't have a 9/10 tradthot gf to cook for him
Yikes and cringe.

Never meal prep your food unless you wanna end up like that guy youtu.be/5ujTYLV2Qo4

If you meal prep, then at least cook food you can freeze. Spares you food poisoning.

Or just get good and fast recipes so you can cook the evening before - and 20 mins for cooking a night should be possible, don't you think?

>be me
>NEET
>still do mealpreps
i like having smol containers i can just nuke for 2 minutes and throw some siracha on and eat because lazy.

Red meat isn't as bad for you as the corn and vegetable oil shills make it out to be. Neither is cholesterol. Its more about quality of the meat and not being sedentary obese smoking McDonald's devouring ameritard.

Makes tracking macros easier

Chicken is cheap and tastes prety good if you leave the skin on, just eating dry plain breasts with no flavour sucks. Thats why i buy thighs and roast them with a little salt and some rosmary or something, make the skin go krispy. I also like eating a whole roast chicken as a treat sometimes, again much more flavour, and you van save all of the cooking juices and use it as a dipping sauce.

>The prepped meal he ate was left out for 2 days refrigerated

This has absolutely nothing to do with meal prepping and everything to do with eating spoiled food. This doesn't happen to food that is properly stored

I sometimes meal prep because it makes me more accountable on what I eat for the day. I'm much more likely to eat a meal that is already prepared and ready to eat after 2 minutes in the microwave.

Scooby has awesome cheap prep meals

>but why the heck would I want to eat old food
because I hate cooking, cleaning the fucking mess, and I rotate through two plates so idgaf

I’m actually living off savings right now since I hate working but it’s really nice having so much free time to work out and cook and play games with my buds

Same. I buy pack of chicken breast, broccoli and white rice every week and just cook and pack that shit up every Sunday. Comes out to about 25$

christ its pathetic how telling it is when someone cant cook for themselves.
