Lay it on me, why are people so afraid of Trump and what does MAGA really mean/stand for? I've always been a right leaning, leftist but I'm thinking about going full redpill.

Conservatives after the Reagan era were the type to speak loudly without carrying a stick, and allowed those that leaned more left to dominate dialogue and media representation. They are afraid because in appealing to the "base," he makes those who only have power for a couple months every 2 years feel like their concerns can be addressed. (((Some))) argue his boisterous and grandiose manners are compensation for shortcomings, but it's a strategy to bring him down to their level and get him to tow the lines they want. Trump represents a shift back to the people rather than the powers that be.
MAGA simply means bring the country back to a time when the individual had more freedom to work towards their dreams and not be shackled by needlessly manufactured economic downturn and dependence on governance to create their livelihood. It is a seeking of returning to a time of honest coverage of those in power by the media, rather than having the talking heads dictate national opinion while calling it informative

The Republican convention didn't want him because he was blatantly outspoken about issues the other candidates were soft about, but they had to back down because the people wanted him. Trump played into the two-party system because that's basically the only way to win in this country right now, but he demonstrates that the conservatism pushed by Republicans doesn't go far enough to satisfy the people

Maybe if the workers themselves acquired all of the property rights this whole thing could be alleviated.
