Its less about time and more about your IQ for lifting. If you eat well, think out what you're doing/what mistakes you're making etc then you'll look good in no time. Noob gains are a real thing. If you're looking at OPs picture he doesn't have much more than noob gains and is even lacking his noob gains in certain areas

You might not even be able to reach that size naturally. If you're predisposed, 3 years on a perfect diet sounds about right.

The medial head of the tricep produces the dent I think you're talking about, try close grip bench press. but if you don't have it you're probably small all over, so just train everything.

one arm cable tricep pushdown, incline dumbbell press with neutral grip and pushing from the middle of the chest, just those 2 worked good for me when I was a dyel

idk if that's too much better than close grip.. couldnt he just add unilateral stuff and get a spotter with his close grip if he's worried about symmetry and dropping the bar?
also doing bench on an incline makes it more like an overhead-esq exercise, and those focus more on the long head than the medial head, so doing it flat would help more with the 'bump' specifically..

this, if you have played sports before and have good genetics it can probably be done in 3 months depending on where you start from.

I meant a slight incline, like 15-25 degrees, if I was him I would prefer to do the unilateral stuff because it took me 2 years of lifting to get my triceps relatively even, the sooner you start with unilateral the better, he can still do close grip bench, but as a beginner it'd fuck his wrists and everything, he'll need to take it slow
