The sumo meme has gone too far. I'm seeing at least one person doing this per day at the gym.

Reminder that your max deadlift is NOT your max sumo, it's your max conventional deadlift. Sumo is cheating.

Truth. Same with Low bar squats

Post squat

>t. just got outhoisted again

got mogged by the sumo chads again?

Sumo's great for ass gains though it's not all bad, still prefer the conventional deads than Sumo

Sumo is the same as an extreme back arch.

Sumo is the more natural way of picking things up.

Most of the time I pick something up from the floor, my arms will be between my legs, not outside them.

Why would I train the less functional movement?

t. bitter post squat lobster thinking his 5pl8 low bar good morning is impressive

The only reasons someone should ever train conventional instead of Sumo is out of personal preference or training for something that excludes sumo.

Otherwise just do whatever one you want and keep your nose out of other people's business.

t. Weak bitches

I warm up with your maxes, faggot.

This, especially when you are not a manlet.

>arms between the legs means sumo
lmaoing @ this logic

Shut up faggot. It's not about some retards private matter it's the fact that sumo deadlift are retarded and really bad for muscle gaining.

It's closer biomechanically to a sumo than to a conventional

and tbqh
>arms between the legs means sumo
Pretty much yeah

Post source or fuck off.

Escamilla, 2002 An electromyographic analysis of sumo and conventional style deadlifts.
would disagree with you

>2002
Opinion discarded.

Post a refutation that isn't just "it's from 2002" or stop replying

>"hey bro, how much weight can you pick up off the ground?"
>watch this
>picks up 4pl8
>"t-that doesn't count, your stance was wide! Technically the weight never left the ground!"
This is how stupid you sound

Oh let's see that 280kg deadlift and 250kg squat then

Deadlift >Jefferson deadlift >>>sniffing braps>>>>>>>>>>>sumo deadlift

post body and lifts

Yeah so is wide grip bench

Kek, considering you prefer sumo. Your ROM is probably 5cm.

I pull slightly less sumo becuase of weak first part of the movement(quads). How is it cheating u fag

It surprises me how bitter and insipid anti-sumo guys are.

Do me a favor. Post whether you do conventional or sumo, AND your height.

I'm a 6'0 skinnyfag with longer legs and APT. Sumo DL's helped me significantly, and I prefer them to conventional, although I still train both.

I guarantee even though sumo is a cheat I can pull more than you with my conventional

I do the real deadlift (not sumo).
I'm 5'6.
I deadlift 200kg

So a manlet likes to do ego cheating deadlifts, surprise surprise. I'm 6'4 and do conventional.

I pull 280kg conventional you dingus. You're just coping about people stronger than you

FUCK sumo deadlifts. Give me that zumba deadlift

>5pl8 low bar good morning is
This is impressive though

it's not, it's a cheat.

I'd rather be doing my 1.5 plate highbar ATG, than any disgusting 5cm rom powerlifting shit

I can pull less with sumo.

You've heard of the fox and the grapes right lad?

>1.5 pl8 squat
So these are the people that give you shit on Jow Forums

dude if I did lowbar I could probably add an extra 100kg to it, I just refuse to because I'm not a cheater

God damnit you are dumb. Sumo isnt easier. If that would be the case every 900+lb deadlift would have been sumo, but the big majority is conventional. You dont fail a lift because the range of motion is less, you fail it because you cant make it through your sticking point.
There are two kind of people who hate about sumo:
The ones who have tried it and are weak at it.
The ones who get outlifted by somebody who pulls sumo.

Kek. If the knees are below the crease of the hips it's all good.
A 5pl8 good morning sounds more difficult than the squat

Other way round duh, if the crease of the hips are below the knees

>muh highbar aye tee gee

You have no place to talk, you'd crumple with even 140kg on your back
