i've got distal biceps tendon tendinitis, every pulling movement i do will bring atrocious pain, a really unique kind of hurt, that honestly makes one want to cry
wat do

Lmao wtf were you trying to do? Curling heavy ass shit? Playing with rings? That shit sounds worse than tendonitis more like a partial tendon tear if not outright complete, go to the doc. I say this because if it is a tendon tear that shit will never heal well on its own. You're going to need surgical re-attachment if you ever wish to get your bicep strength back up to the level it was before.
Bump.
I also want to know this
You eat a lot of food and rest the fucking injury. Skip every movement involving your forearms.
OH NO NO NO
Let it heal then do light flexion exercises
Stop doing explosive moments, lift slow and negative slow
>getting surgery instead of taking hgh
do chinups for biceps
avoid pronated pulling movements, avoid bicep isolation at all costs
Cry

I fixed mine by doing stretches to strengthen the ligaments
You were probably holding barbells/dumbbells/other shit wrong, you should hold them with the palms of your hands, not your fingers
You’re out for a couple months. Just rest it.
I have this on the other side. Golfers elbow.
Sadly this takes a LOOOONG time to heal. Tendons have poor to no blood flow and healing them is not easy. 550 days s the average turnover rate of tendon cells.
I got my injury in spet 2017 and it still bothering me. it was better before christmas but i started deadlifting again and it's gotten a bit worse again.
Best thing is to use straps from now on, massage it daily and do rehab exercises toget the blood into it. It will take a long time. ease pulling back in. any pain over 3/10 on an exercise and u need to stop doing it.
Flow fluids with resitance band twice a day(curls, wrist supination/pronation/flexion) Stop al heavy pressing movments. and squat with safty bar if u have acess to one.
Accept your fate OP, hard break from lifting for 4-6 months. Trust me, I’ve been dealing with a quad tear for over a year now and you should just let it heal first.
carnivore diet with fasting. light pump work to get blood flow there. pray to whatever sky friend you believe in.
you're canadian aren't you
no. not 5"6 either
>outside of tricep starts to hurt on bench
>ignore it for like a month because it goes away after I'm warmed up
>always there when I bench though, keeps getting more intense each time
>lift on Monday
>something fucks up
>bad pain in arm and elbow, even after I'm done with bench
>can't even finish my workout
>"yeah, take it easy. Don't do any intense lifting for at least a month or possibly even two"
This is my first genuine injury, what the fuck am I supposed to do beyond cardio and legs? I've never missed more than 2 weeks in the gym after I got into lifting, and I'm afraid to even go bouldering if it's just going to make it worse. I think this could be the chance to really cut down on bf% since I can't justify bulking if I can't lift, but I'm afraid for my muscle.
MK-677, a lot of gelatin, GH peptides, BPC-157, stretching around the area (significantly raises IGF-1), TB-500, T3/T4 or high caffeine to increase thyroid hormone (faster overall body function = quicker healing), daily cialis 10-20mg for more blood flow and quicker healing, hot bathes, high dose MSM, daily aspirin up to 1 gram per day to reduce inflammation and allow everything mentioned before to repair the injury.
Remember people lift slow
A tear in a tendon? A TENDON? A TENDONNNN?
Nigga you better start looking at surgery options or definitive rest
I got a tendonosis FROM bouldering.
Idk what kinda fuck up form u have in the gym to break a tendon.
Dont boulder, puts way more stress on tendons.
Reality is a break with no movements that aggregate it. In my case that was no grip work and back work for 1 year.
Tendon Surgical Repair
Strength following repair
tendon repairs are weakest at 7-10 days
most of strength by 21-28 days
maximum strength at 6 months
final strength only reaches 2/3 of normal even years after repair
Early mobilization
allows earlier ROM but decreased tendon repair strength
beneficial for flexor tendon healing to prevent adhesion formation
LOOK MAN THAT SHIT IS NO JOKE. I DO TENNIS AND SEE PEOPLE TEARING THESE SHITS, ONCE IT'S A TENDON INJURY THEY PRETTY MUCH ACCEPT THEY WILL NEVER BE A TOP TIER PLAYER
SEE A LOTTA PEOPLE CRYING OVER IT. DREAMS BROKEN. BUT SINCE YOU AIN'T A HIGH LEVEL ATHLETE AND JUST SOME GUY TRYING TO SCORE SOME PUSSY I SUGGEST YOU ACCEPT YOUR FATE. DON'T LIFT, LET IT HEAL SEE A DOCTOR
>Wat do
