Started lifting consistently at 18 years old, 6ft, 170 skinny fat with a max bench of maybe 135 for a couple reps, hard to remember. Took me 3 years to bench 315x1, was 6ft 185lbs 21 old.

Made 3pl8 for 5 my second year of lifting. Just did a big dirty bulk.

Bench 145 kg (Just above 3pl8)
Strict press 90 kg
Push press 117.5 kg
Squat 5pl8
Diddly 6pl8

No you don't lol

mirin all, Im only at 2pl8 for 5 reps myself, hoping to get to 3pl8 for a single in a year or so

I was joking. I've only ever seen one natty guy benching 3pl8 in the 11 years I've been lifting and it was a 1rm.

When I hit 315x1, I was repping 225 for around 8-10 for 2/3 sets depending on the day/not hungover/diet in check. Was in college this whole time and drank a lot on weekends.

Started at a 175 pound bench at 150ish body weight. It took four years to get 3pl8 at an 183 body weight. 5'8 for my height.

195 standing OHP
385 Squat
495 Deadlift conventional
I can also do military press 225 for four reps. Never maxed out on them.

not nice joking like that user, I believe you yet I don't think 3pl8 bench is some unrealistic goal for a natty, going by some online strength level standards like symmetricstrength.com/standards#/85/kg/male/- 3pl8 bench is advanced level, but nowhere close to exceptional or elite

nice, thanks for sharing friends

Symmetric strength is known to have retarded standards. 30% of all male gym goers try steroids at least once, i imagine the proportion is much higher in those who use SS and so the strength standards are going to be wildly inaccurate for natty lifters.

GYM DEMONS ARE TRYING TO POSSESS THE ONLY BENCH RACK AGAIN!

i really really like this image
Is he in hell because he's deathgripping the bar?

can't say I have any proof that it is accurate at the higher strength levels, but its been very reliable at the intermediate and proficient level so far for me and a few people I know

I've seen many anons on Jow Forums claiming 3pl8 bench over time, I don't believe all of them come here to estat

2 years lifting as a natty, hit 3 plates a month ago. Rate my physique.

Started lifting at 16
>First time bench: 50kg
>1 year: 85kg
>2 year: 117.5kg
>3 year: 140kg
Hit 140kg just before I turned 19
185cm (6'1) @ 91kg
Deadlift: 210kg
Squat: 165kg (lagging abit)
Press™:70kg (lol dont train)

Attached: XKvH7wg_d.jpg (640x576, 23K)

could probably bench 160kg x 1 right now
could probably ohp like 85-90 x 1
deadlift, eh, 180? 190? only recently started training it
squat, probably same, I'm a squat volem, and i've been injured
took me like 5 years
a lot of it was doing inappropriate routines (5/3/1) or shitty ones (madcow)
could've hit that in 3 years or less probably
body looks like shit because i'm fat and never do chest isolation and only recently started doing tricep & lateral delt isolation also because natty

Got to a 325 bench this summer @ 18 years old, then got a spinal cord injury and lost all my gainz. After relearning how to walk I've got it back up to 245 or so. Pray for me brahs, am I going to make it?

Attached: pepe.png (412x351, 78K)

yes
your recovery is crazy strong because you are young so it will be like you have never been injured

How long have you been training

How tall are you

I got into wrestling and lifting seriously in grade 10 when I was about 5'5" 200lbs lard with a 90 bench, and by after my senior year I was 6'3" 220lbs with a 325 bench

Most of Jow Forums cycles or straight up cruise. This is fake natty land my man. Myself included when younger.

Thanks bro, means a lot. Doctors originally weren't sure if I was even going to be able to walk again so I'm grateful I can go to the gym at all lol

interesting, thanks!
>a lot of it was doing inappropriate routines (5/3/1) or shitty ones (madcow)
what routine would you consider appropriate?

325 @18? fuark. Will pray for you frien

Go to a better gym

thank you fren

160kg/352lbs ~max bench
1.78m 96kg
227.5/500 squat, 290/638 deadlift
2 years lifting, no real programming aside from on/off runs of SS. Currently daily max deadlift, bench 3/4 times, don't bother squatting.

Been to 10 gyms over the years, including a powerlifting one and a boxing one.

> 325 at 18
Guess you get what you deserve for roiding underage. Also:
> "spinal injury in summer, relearned how to walk and lift back up to 2pl8 within 6 months"
Either shit LARP or irresponsibly slamming PEDs.

I started lifting at 15 lmao just because you're weak doesn't mean 325 isn't attainable natty. Also why would I lie about getting a spinal cord injury on an anonymous sudanese basket weaving forum senpai

for this post exactly

It says 185cm

believe what u want my guy I don't know how or care enough to prove it lol

most Jow Forums is dyel, but that is something to keep in mind true, should have probably ask in OP if natty or not

strong af, Im same height and 15kg lighter, probably 20 when I cut

>2years lifting
>290Kg deadlift
Either you are larping or you are a future world record holder

Sad user.

ss/greyskull for beginners
hlm/tm for after that
anything where I bench/squat less than 2x a week, like 5/3/1, seems too advanced for me

ITT: Pure unadulterated LARP.

>powerlifting gym
>nobody benches 3pl8
Huge doubt

Ok please detail the injury, event and anatomy, then the healing process. Im an F1 so I'll judge. I'll be sure to publish an article on the miracle.

A few did but i stated natty and at that gym a lot of people were open about gear use. Otherwise bench wasn't even that popular there.

this

Here is video of 270 from this morning. 290@96 is not competitive.

Attached: 270[ConvGif].gif (240x135, 1.18M)

Are you sure you want to be further compressing your spine?

Look buddy there's no need to hurt me this way.
I'm 6 foot in my work boots, I'm almost a human adult.

> already dropped your number
> doesn't look like 270
Doubt the 2 years at this point as well.

>a man striving for improvement in the deepest part of hell
This pic I like.

cheers
mirin

maybe some, but most seem legit, 3-5 years for 3pl8 bench is what I keep hearing in other places too

Manlet I can see those are just 2.5kg plates on your own custom bar designed for borrowers

Thanks, I'm a bit chunkier than I'd like, aiming to get down to at least 90 while pushing for the big 3hundo dl.

I’ve seen at least 4, and it was impressive every time

Took me just over 1.5 years of *consistent* lifting to get 255kg at 183. Its totally doable if youre not an excuse making autist and stick with it

Yeah it's almost like e-statting isn't just a Jow Forums phenomenon. If anything we tear each other down here more than most sites which keeps it down a bit. Some user the other day was posting a study run at his gym which showed the average estimated 1rm bench for male users who benched regularly was 90kg.

I don't keep my videos for long because why would I, I have that one because it's from this morning. It's 5x25kg plates either side. 25x5x2 is 250, plus 20kg bar is 270. Not sure what I'm supposed to do for further proof. It's not an unachievable number by any means.

I hit 315x1 about 3 months into my second year. Progress has been shit since and two years later I've only put about 30lbs on that but have put 60+ on my squat and deadlift.

Do another DL on cam but ass out so we can see the striations of glute activation and confirm.

O shit you got me.
I'M ALMOST SIX FOOT WHY COULDN'T I JUST GET THAT EXTRA INCH.

Ok bby

I couldn't fucking bench over 2plate for the longest time

Then I started benching every single day and doing push ups at home, and my bench exploded

That all furthered my doubt about the wisdom of rippletits extremely

> no response
I expected some sad LARP where in reality some user on gear took a week off for a sore back but that it was all bullshit is sadder than i expected.

TAKE ME DOWN TO LITTY SNAP CITY
WHERE THE GAINS ARE FAST AND THE PRICE IS HEAVY

90kg is way more than I would guess for an average desu lol
I know people that lift for a long time, but don't really make progress becouse of shit program/nutrition and are stuck forever at barely over 1pl8
but at the same time I refuse to believe that 3pl8 is out of reach if you are consistent with everything
curious what is your bench then? are you the guy that is lifting for 11 years?

Nope but I've been lifting for 9. I currently bench 2pl8 for 5, used to bench 2.25pl8.

As for the average its the estimated 1rm. Those calculations are always very generous. It probably translates to a real 1rm of 85kg average for men who routinely bench.

I benched 165kg last week. I've benched 160 in competition with pauze and I can rep 140 for 6+.

105kg class, lifting for about 5 years

TAAAAAAKE MEEEEEE HOOOOMEE

COUNTRY ROAADDDSSSSSS TO THE PLAAAAAACEEEEE I BELONGGGGGGG

6'1 205 now can bench 315 5-6 times. Took me 3 years or so but during that time I was lifting for my sport rather than just my big three. Easy to achieve if that's all you care about. Pic is from last year at around 6'1 190ish

Attached: 2018-01-19-12-47-32.jpg (1600x1349, 349K)

Merlin

well I've been lifting for a lot less than you, maybe it will turn out that you are right and I will hit a wall soon, but I hope not
I'm at 5 x 2pl8 and still progressing nicely

dayum, you're a big guy

veeeery noiiiiice

Obvious gear

I won't deny a lot of my years were affected by a lot of cardio/work/etc. However your expectations are off, especially if you think thst post above is natty.

Pulled a 280/627 out my ass just for you guys. Straight off the train from work. Now do I get my Internet GBP?

Attached: 280[ConvGif].gif (240x240, 3.16M)

>best binch
365 is flat 1rm though I can do 315 5x5
I'm on a decline binge right now so I'm pretty sure I can hit 385-405, I'll know in two and a half weeks.
>other lifts
Deadlift is stuck at 455 because my hamstrings are my weak point.
I never bothered progressing my squat past 365.
>how long it took you to get there
I started lifting in 2012 but I mostly screwed around and didn't take it seriously until 2015.
In 2016 I got into a big accident and fell into a dark place (metaphorically).
As fate would have it, mai waifu found me and lifted me out my hole (figuratively).
Since then, I've been lifting for her (literally).
>and/or post body so I can mire
I-I'm still bulking.

What do you say is a good routine for strength m8?

I appreciate your voice of reason fren, maybe I'll be less disappointed if I can't reach 3pl8, but for now I'll keep going with that goal in mind and see what happens

you get a (you) and another mirin from me

nice!

Fair play lad

Test E 500mg
HGH 8iu ed

Obviously aim for it but at 2.25pl8 i was a lean 92kg at 6'. I felt like i had more or less reached a natty limit, my 1rm was probably 2.5pl8.

Then again because of a period of ill health im now 82kg benching 2pl8 so I've retained strength beyond my mass.

This was me August 2017 before I got a gf, got lazy and depressed from work, and stopped lifting for 1.5 years. I had been lifting on and off since I was 19, my weights yo yoed up and down by 20 to 40lbs yearly as I fell on and off the fitness wagon in college and after
At the time my stats were
>23 years old
>5'9"
>178lbs
>bench: 315 for 3
>ohp: 175 for 5
>squat: 335 for 5
>diddly: 405 for 5

Now ive been back lifting for about 3 weeks

>5'9
>205lbs
>bench: 235 for 5
>ohp: 135 for 5
>squat: 255 for 5
>diddly: 315 for 5
Cutting and lifting less than before sucks ass, but its the price I pay. Never again will I force myself to start over like this.

Attached: 20190131_132200.jpg (1584x1132, 602K)

Thanks for putting the height twice in case it changed

Im a manlet. We never learn.

1,5 years of break, lifting for less than a month and lifts similar to mine fffffffff

I know that feel though brother, I have lifted before, not nearly at that level to be fair, but I was out of novice zone at least and then quit for almost 5 years before picking it up again to be a lazy slob and drink every other day with other lazy shits

feels so fucking good to be the strongest you ever were again though, you'll get there soon brah

Those return stats are 100% not from zero lifting for a year and a half.

I've got Manlet leverage and years of experience and technique to fall back on.

If it helps ive never been aesthetic, never got lean enough or did enough hypertrophy. I looked like that pic when I was at my strongest ever. I just get dense as fuck. Hoping to focus more on health and aesthetics this time so my shoulders aren't screaming when I go for a max.

I hadn't done any lifting. Just rock climbing and some calisthenics. Maybe single digit gym visits outside of rock climbing in that time frame.

That's hardly a break then. In reality catabolism sets in rapidly after two weeks of no use. I work in a hospital and you should see the effect of people instructed to cease using a limb.

>Easy to achieve if that's all you care about
If everyone was on gear, yes.

Id consider going from
>lifting 5 or 6 days a week every week for a year
>eating clean and often
To
>nearly no strenuous exercise for 6 months
>rock climbing 3 times a week for 8 months or so
>eating and drinking garbage
To be a big break from weightlifting. I obviously wasnt in a coma or bedridden.

Lmao what do you call a break? Being strapped to a hospital bed like the sloth guy from se7en?

Nope but just not exercising something. For instance we had a big guy who was told to avoid all weight loading exercises for at least 4 months post a surgery and he had lost 8kg within 6 weeks.

Nice pull buddeh.

started 4 months ago im not even at 1pl8 yet but getting really close to it.

Got it around 2 years into lifting.

Best ever:
205 OHP
340 Bench
366 Squat
505 Deadlift (conventional)

Don't ignore squats anons

Bench 185kg
Press 110kg
Lower body lifts are shit cuz im a brolifter
5yrs lifting 100kg 182cm

I had class lmao calm down there bud. I got stabbed in the neck and the knife nicked my spinal cord, giving me symptoms similar to brown-sequard syndrome (that's what my doctor called it, I'm not a doctor so idk what that means exactly) but I have nerve damage in my right arm and was completely paralyzed in my right leg for a while. Took about two months to walk again, back in the gym two months later.

juicy lifts anons
my legs are lagging a bit too compared to bench, its probably something one could guess seeing a thread focused on bench lol, working on it
fucking hell, stay safe brah

thanks brah I'm gonna do my best to avoid future stabbings aha

Bench:350lbs(havent maxed in awhile)
Squat:420lbs
