Strength Vs Aesthetics

Help me Jow Forums

I have been doing a 3x5 strength training program for a couple of years now. I have enjoyed it, found it easy to stick to, and have made slight gains. But i look like a skinnyfat piece of shit. I go to a powerlifting gym, and i recently came to the realisation that all of the strong people there do not look good.

As a novice, what is a program that will help me to look more Jow Forums in the coming years?

>PPLXPPL

Checking it out. Thanks.

Dude looking good is about time under tension, and keeping low bf%. No big science

also choose exercises that involve muscle stretching

PPLPPLx >>>>> PPLxPPL
Come at me faggot.

Why not both?
>not roiding

As you've done 3x5 for 2 years, I assume you're at intermediate progression.

Try out Brian Alsruhe's Powerbuilding.

His shoulders look tasty

Yeah, cause Eddie Hall isn't roided at all.

you wouldnt be able to hit a thousand pound diddy no matter how many roids you did so why try

You can still hit 700 or more which is respectable.

>not an antagonist split

Push(quads)/Pull(hams) for 4 days.
Push/Pull/Legs for 6.
Upper/Lower if you feel like your legs need more work.

Roiding? PPLPPL, Push/Pull 6 days or some intelligently designed muscle group split.

Idk if this is a meme but are the two not just the same thing?

700 is still insane

Different poster here, and no. You're taking only 1 rest day per week instead of 2 and prolonging the workout

fify

How? PPLPPLX is 6 days at gym then Sunday off. PPLXPPL is 3 at gym, Thursday off, 3 at gym, no?

5x5 for strength, 3x12 for aesthetics

i guess he forgot one x at the end

Shit picture, go for both. Strength-focused compounds with hyperthrophy accessories thrown in

3*5 is way too low volume btw, do 5*5

I look at pictures like this and remember how stupid everyone is when they first start training.
Heres a tip op: work out regularly for the next 10 years and then get back to me.
