Is 3-4 hours at the gym 6 times a week too much? I feel like I'm killing myself just to land a gf/"live healthier", and it's a waste if I'm not in a competition or movie role or something

Very much so yes. Unless you're training to compete in something you don't need more than 3-6 hours/week in the gym.
He's in competition against other males for a mate.
If you haven't landed a gf you're not in the gym enough.
If you have the drive and discipline to train that hard. WHY are you not competing in something? If your trying to get a girlfriend a competitive sport is definitely a good place to start
You mean 3-4 hours every session?
Holy shit.
Your cortisol must be through the roof.
I do 1-2 hours 6 days a week
I play twice as much vidya though. Honestly if you enjoy the time (and aren't busy otherwise) then its not bad to be doing something productive.
What the fuck are you doing for 3-4 hours? A 2 hour run? You're either bullshitting in the gym or resting too much.
3 times a week, 45 minutes per session is tops.
When it comes to strength building then you honestly should have at least 30 minutes to a few hours between each full strength lift to maximize rest.
>if you want a girlfriend, go be alone in a room full of other men.
>instead of going out to talk to women.
>that's the ticket
Post body
>Hours between sets
Blaha pls leave
3-4 hours is really too much unless you have a set purpose to it. More than likely you will be completely fatigued and less effective after the first week or two. You’ll end up injuring yourself if you try to work anymore past that.
Pavel, the russians, old time strongmen with ridiculous real feats, actually.
women won't care that you lift
also you don't care about living healthier you only want to look good this is just a meme that gymrats hide behind so they don't look too vain
kinda like how women wear sexy clothes because it's "cute" or "comfortable"
>cortisol
there's that word again. Someone said it when I told them I was power lifting on ketogains.
50-90 minutes, 6 days a week
Anything less and I feel like I didn't do anything, anything more and I feel like I'm wasting time
I actually spend 3 hours at the gym on push day, don't know how betas can have a 1 hour workout, do they not train abs or do cardio like wtf
If that’s his rationale he’s not using his time efficiently to maximize his goal. An hour a day, six days a week, for all your strength, cardio, flexibility, etc. Anything beyond that that isn’t primarily social is exponentially diminishing returns from a mate seeking perspective.
I’m a dyel marathoner and I have three kids because I always run socially as well as competitively. I win local races, I married a qt cardio bunny I met at a group run, her friends already all knew and liked me before I asked her out. If you have a social network it’s literally the easiest thing in the world to get a gf and eventually a family. But you won’t develop a social network in cacoon mode.
>posts prince of saiyans
>asks if he's training too hard
Yeah pic definitely not related, you will never Vegeta
Well if you're so fucking peeved about it why not look it up? It's a signal substance for stress. You don't even have to look it up to understand its effects if you're smart enough
