You asked for acceptable. Saying most people are weak doesn't mean anything you dumb cunt. An acceptable lift is the bare minimum to keep your ass alive in a confrontation with grown men. 135 is not it. Do you think 225 is an arbitrary standard? Do you not know what acceptable means?
Anyone I see benching 180 is on the path to acceptable strength and acceptable lifts. By your terminology, no, 135 is not acceptable. 180 is not acceptable. 225 once, that's not that much to ask for.
If you want to see real strength and beyond acceptable look up NFL combine bench records, they do 225 for as many reps as possible, a minimum of 10 before they'll even let you on the field. In highschool the test is often 185. You have very low standards to meet with 225 you just don't realize it.

225 is the culmination of your beginner gains. 275 is acceptable. 315 is great. Look around your gym. How many men there can benchpress 315? Getting up to 405 is truly exceptional.

if you're under 200 lbs, 275 for 5 reps is "nice". 315 for at least 3 reps is great.
if you're 200-220, 315 for 5, 365 for 3. any higher than that and you really need to be hitting 4 plates.
