5'10", 165 pounds here. I'm also at the "healthy weight" mark (23 BMI) and pretty fucking fat still. and it's because the BMI is far too generous and in actuality way more people than ever are overweight and simply undiagnosed as being such by the BMI tables. if you ask me, BMI 18-20 is the real "healthy" zone. so basically, lose more weight. that's all you can do.

Guys I binged the other day and thought it would fuck me up but I weighed myself this morning and it seems fine because I ate at a deficit the other days since I last weighed myself. Kind of sucks though because if I didn’t binge I probably would have lost some weight.

I'm doing creatine to try and reduce lost muscle while cutting, and a light couple of multivitamins to try and offset the lethargy/malnutrition of cutting at 750-1k kcal for months.

I intentionally try to dehydrate myself a bit before my nightly weigh-in, by saving my cardio to the last few hours.

And then I put on 0.4kg today anyway because I drank something like 5 liters through the day.

I'm planning to do it everyday. It helps me to stick with the diet and i hope i can deliver some good news along the way.

Lads, I've stopped counting calories.
I know how much my staples are and I know what amount of food is sort of acceptable, eating patterns are accounted for.
Still losing weight, so it's all gucci.

Been going strong for 3 months now- I eat a small amount of low fat yoghurt for breakfast, during the day I eat fruits from the fruits basket, and I eat whatever dinner mom has cooked, other than that I try to not eat anything, and I average 1500-1600 kcal a day.

Hit the 60 lbs lost mark yesterday. Its a big landmark for me: I haven't been this weight (228lbs from 288, started last July) since Sophomore year of college (3 years ago) and I weigh less than my older brother. 70 lbs more til goal weight.

Still miss chocolate milk though. That has yet to go away.

God, I wish I was one of those people who gets a high from excercise. No matter how well I do or how positive I try to be about it, I never seem to actually feel good during or after excercise. I can say that I'm proud of myself for doing it, but some sort of satisfaction still seems to be missing.

The lowest calorie cheese is shit like feta. Just work whatever cheese you actually like into your CICO. Pay attention to serving sizes, remember that a little goes a longer way than expected when it comes to shredded cheese, ditch a bun/sauce/whatever on your sandwich to have thr cheese slice instead, etc. I love cheese too and I'm doing the same things to keep it a delicious part of my diet.

Counting calories and learning the basic nutritional value of the foods they eat is a valuable experience for fatties. A lot of fat people get fat completely ignorant of how much they're supposed to consume and how much more they actually are consuming. Telling someone to eat "less" when they don't even know what the right amount of food looks like is pointless-- a lot of fatties need to learn basic shit like "a bowl of cereal" is supposed to be ~3/4 cup of cereal and 1/2 cup of milk, not "the salad bowl you pulled out of the cupboard filled to the top with cereal and milk".
The gayest shit is being too lazy to learn how to take care of oneself properly and hoping to make it by following vague shitty advice like "just eat less and work out".

Using a different scale has a good chance of fucking up your results. Otherwise, you were fucking up on your diet or were scheduled for a whoosh anyway.

I always weighted myself on a local drugstore's scale.Today the drugstore was closed so I used a shoeshiner's one and paid for it.

calorie counting only takes a minutes if you eat american pre-cooked garbage that has all the calories on the can

I hurt my shoulder doing pushups and gave up for a few weeks. It's pretty bad, I fucked up my rotator cuff I think. It happened on 1/13 and it still hurts if I do anything with that arm. I'm mad as fuck, I was doing really well up until that.

I switched from OMAD to alternate day fasting recently. Been losing weight pretty fast. The fast days are usually pretty smooth until the evenings when I usually would have my daily meal. Is there a reason why eating like 800 calories a day would be worse than outright fasting every other day?

yeah i bought a 3lb tub recently, expensive per gram of protein if eel like at $32~, and getting 25g of protein in exchange for only 100 calories is pretty good. I don thave a major problem staying under my calorie limit each day but it is nice to wake up and get in 25 or 50g of protein immediately, plus it counts for my 10 cups of water a day. Chicken breast takes longer to make and is annoying to eat

The difference would be having 800 calories instead of 0 calories. That's it.
