What specific exercises are you doing for your workouts? Also if you're trying to loose weight it would me more efficient to run instead of lifting weights.

Can't comment on the workout. Post macros and micros.

>tone up

those are VERY long gym sessions

You won't see much gain from this routine, the typical prosplit type thing is extremely inefficient. Full body workouts 3 times a week are the easiest and beat way to add muscle or "tone" for beginners. As far as the diet, you may run into issues with cravings and diversity of food. If you're a person used to eating whatever they want this will be an extremely unsustainable diet. In general if you're new to dieting to loose weight this will not be an easy diet to follow.

> a whole day (90 mins) just for abs

just do a general push / pull split you're making things too specific and complicated

I'm not just looking to lose weight, but that is the main goal at the end. I also want a decent physique and want to improve my strength to help with my work.
Don't know how specific you want, but its mainly weight lifting in sequence targetting each muscle in the mentioned part of my body. I'm fairly new to this so I am still getting my workouts figured out.

Look into full body workouts. That diet is far to restrictive and not high enough on protein, fat, or anything really. You'll give up on it on day 2 from being hungry. You need to figure out your maintenance calories then take 200-500 off that to figure out a good starting point then diet around that.

>memetier brosplit
If you want to do a brosplit, combine the muscle groups into three days, and then repeat, ABCABCx. You should work every group twice. Once is not going to do anything.

>tone up

>two cardio days
>a day for abs
>no shoulder day
Jesus. Did you not read any literature?

> this
Im fucking losing my shit over here at doing abs for 90 minutes

>an entire workout dedicated to abs
>shit tier brosplit (which is shitty per se)
>no shoulders
>literally 0 compounds
>eating the same every day
>not counting calories

OH NO NO NO NO

>doing abs for an hour and a half
Come on user...

you didnt read the sticky, did you?
if you really wanna drop 30 lbs you should probably cut out snacking entirely
a novice like you will have a hard time maintaining a deficit if you just eat nuts and chocolate whenever you like it

Ideally you'd wanna be doing compound lifts that work multiple groups at once. I personally stick with calisthenics but that 's because I've been injured a bunch.

Just do the stronglifts 5x5 if you want an effective routine. You should ideally be working out every other day. Weight lifting is a form of cardio so there's no point in doing extra. You really only need to spend 3-4 hrs / wk lifting. Unless you're an actual athlete, you'll just burn yourself out trying to go ham every day.

OP said he was new to this, it clearly shows
>day 5 - Abs (60-90 minutes)
I LMAO'd, has to be bait.

I din't think it's bait.
I think they're new and just trying to "maximize muscle groups over a weak."
"If I do chest one day and arms another, I'll get twice the workout in both areas."

I can see how a new person would rationalize it.

Shit bait

>breakfast is less than 150 calories
>not bait
Fuck off OP

>tone up

>Trying to figure out your own workouts without knowing what you are doing when routines with proven results are readily available around the internet
Stop this shit

There are some arabs who spend I think 10 minutes between sets at my gym, by the time they're at about quarter of their workout I've already done weights and cardio and am off to the pool.

Fucking retards, get a watch and time your rests.

>everybody shitting on his workout routine
>nobody shitting on eating 1000 calorie per day diet
